The magical place in which you can recapture Pokemon from older generation games (or, well, gen three games) by throwing magical Poke Balls (that are definitely not Master Balls guys!) at the Pokemon you yourself have punted out of another world to either freeze in Sinnoh or sit in Kanto/Johto until you punt them again into 5th gen.

Did you end up using it though, or did you not have any Advance games to make use of or only a DSi? Or just no wish to do so? And if you did use it did you enjoy the 'mini-game' it provided, or dislike any aspects of it?

I only used the Pal Park option was when I was playing Pokemon Pearl. I really didn't like it as much because it took me forever to find all of my Pokemon and whenever I ran out of time, I got really annoyed. The only thing I wished that it didn't do was erase my Pokemon from the advance generation games.

I used it quite heavily at first to transfer over a select group of Pokemon that I wanted in my Pearl (later traded over to Platinum.)

But once I got all the Pokemon I wanted transferred, I honestly forgot about it (and never used it once in SS). It was a bit of a pain trying to look for them, but it was still a lot easier than how 5th gen handled transfers with the stupid Pokeball-flinging minigame... And I never had time run out on me.

Still wish it wouldn't delete the Pokemon... of course something akin to the Time Capsule in 2nd gen would be even better so you could transfer them both ways as long as moves, held items, and such were compatible.

And yes, I find it ironic that I remember that the 2nd gen transfer method was called the Time Capsule yet I don't remember the name of the 5th gen transfer method :P

I use the feature a fair bit since it's easier to source certain monsters from earlier games. It's a minor bother to go around looking for them. Would be nice if they dropped the in-universe pretention a little more as not to inconvenience me so, and since I don't expect the feature is something the franchise's target audience of children are necessarily able to work as-is.

I liked the Pal Park a lot, especially as you only needed one console to transfer. Still use it for transferring pokemon from emerald to white versions.

I always use Pal Park to transfer my Hall of Fame pokemon from FireRed or Emerald to my DS games.

I only used Pal Park to transfer over starters from past games. I didn't like the limitation that a single Game Pak had to be used only once a day to transfer Pokemon, but it's a good thing they fixed it in HG/SS.

I really enjoyed the feature, I traded over tonnes of Pokemon :)

I'm the only one who voted that they never used it... I just couldn't be bothered. :(
