PC Role Models?

I used to have a long list of people I admired here, but as time went on, that list grew shorter and shorter and the admiration I had for them faded. I still hold them in very high regards, but I don't exactly consider them role models, even though I think many of them could be great role models.

When I first started using PC, a few years ago, I was a fan of Livewire(D&D mod) and Scarf/Espurr (Pixel Artist Extrodenaire) especially.

Kazler, Fairy, Everlark/Jak/Syd, and Hikamaru are some of my more recently admired ;)

(I feel like I am forgetting a bunch of other people...)

Hmmm... if I had to pick anyone on here who I'd consider a role model it would probably be Red's Hawt Chibi Pelippers. Not just because she's a mod (a damn good one at that) but because of her friendly and level-headed nature and because of how organised she is. Those are traits I strive for.

Lilith - I've looked up to Lilith for a long time and she was one of my first real PC friends. When she was moderator of Trade Corner, I wanted to be like her and help others and be as well liked. She has really shaped me into who I am on PC and without her, I'd probably be PC-dead in a PC-ditch somewhere. She has given me a lot of good advice over the years and has always been a close friend.

Morkula - Without Geoff, I'd also be dead in a PC-ditch somewhere... hell maybe even a real ditch! Even though I had no idea he was an assistant administrator when he first contacted me, we've become best friends over the years that has expanded from PC into real life. He has always been there to guide me in PC matters and that's been nice. He's been on staff since 2005 (?!?!) so he definitely knows how things work around here.

I think the term role model is stretching it a little bit, but there is some people i do like to think of as an example for behaving and interacting within this community. Namely, the most notorious ones would be Sheep, Jak/Syd/Everlark, Hikamaru and Peitharchia. Ive always found them them to be very nice and sweet people, who would always reply to questions or just simply chat with you, and in the beginning they made me feel really welcomed into PC. Im sorry if im missing someone i should have probably mentioned, these are just the names that come immedately to mind

I don't really look up to anybody, not on here or anywhere.

Is that bad?
Yes, go jump off a cliff. Nah, not necessarily, but ask yourself if you'd be happy in, for example, a position like mine here (no one's gonna call me a role model). If you rely solely on your own expectations for yourself you might end up contented if you fulfill them, but at the same time might not get anywhere in life. If you see my signature below —'be yourself' is the worst advice anyone around here will give you— the reason I say that is because it relies on you being a good person in order for it to be good advice. It isn't good for me; it might be for you, but don't bet on it.
