Peaches are Binary!

Hi all! I'm not very good at this sort of thing so bare with me here. I've never been good at talking about myself and my life, but I'll do my best and answer any questions that you'll have for me after this cute little introduction (okay, not cute per se but you know what I mean).

My name is Tara. Despite that it is my real name I don't care who uses it, but if you aren't comfortable with calling me that then you are free to call me Peaches. Binary is all right too, but out of possible nicknames I find myself liking Peaches the most. What I don't like is the initial BP so I'd rather you not call me that. I use my real name because a few years back my friend was introducing me (I knew her in real life) to some online friends. I didn't have a nickname at the time so she simply stuck with my real name and since then it had stuck as a whole. So there you go!

I joined PC back in 2008. However, during my Sophomore year I had rarely come onto PC if at all until June of 2009 and a bit over a year later in September 2010 I became moderator of Other Trivia, now known as Forum Games. A month or so later I was then given Pokemon Trivia to watch over. If you had known be back before I became a Moderator (as when I did I was in some sort of transition) I was a huge Red from Pokemon Special fangirl. All my signature and avatars would be Red and in general I was pretty obsessed, even calling myself the '#1 Red Fangirl'. This is why my ego emblem is Red and always will be for that moment in PC history. But as you can see I've expanded a lot since then and sometimes tend to have this sort of thing where I can't choose an avatar and go through like twenty in such a short amount of time (thus why my custom avatar count is in the 1000's ahaha).

I'm currently 20, though I'll actually be turning 21 in less than a month! It's pretty surreal, but that might be because I currently do not have a direction in life. For the next few months I'll be focusing on trying to figure out what sort of thing I want to do in life and go back to college in order to pursue that rather than wander around aimlessly in life. Because no one likes those kinds of people, right?

I was born in Arizona, lived in Colorado for a few years, and now I currently live in Florida. It's not as bad as people make it out to be (it's actually been pretty cool for Florida this past week) but if anyone ever talks about how bad the humidity is here then they're probably right; the humidity is terrible here. But that aside and living in a place where the most interesting places (for me) to go to are Barnes n' Noble, Wal-Mart, and Petco, it's a neat place to live.

Interests! I enjoy a pretty good range of things, though if you were to ask me what I like specifically from something (manga, anime, books, etc) many of my lists aren't that big but it might be because I miss a lot of series at times. I'll simply conclude this with a few interests with a few mediums and you are free to ask about anything else!

Anime/Manga: Detective Conan, Naruto, Pokemon Special, Kamichama Karin, and a lot more I don't bother wanting to type here right now haha.
Video Games: Tales of (though in particular Abyss and Symphonia), Kingdom Hearts, Pokemon
Books: Harry Potter, Warriors (mainly the first series though), and most recently the Percy Jackson series!
TV Shows: Psych, Criminal Minds, The Big Bang Theory
Movies/Songs/etc: I'd likely tell you that I have no favorites but you could see what I do and don't like.

Oh also I tend to be very lazy and that sometimes doesn't make be a reliable person. Oops. But yes, feel free to ask away!

You do? Awesome! I live in Central Florida, and it's a really swell place geographically. The city I live in (Ocala) is one or so hours away from both Orlando and Tampa, and not much farther from Orlando is an easy drive to say, Daytona. So either way if my family or I wanted to go to a beach, an amusement park, etc, it's not really that far of a drive at all. Even when my family drove to St. Augustine it wasn't that long of a drive to me, and I was the one driving.

Uhm... I also like the horses around? Since Ocala is named 'Horse Capital of the World' there are a lot of horses about. Also a lot of cows.

And again, I really like Florida's weather in the fall/winter season as there is normally not as much humidity and the weather is more bearable than people make it out to be.

Edit: Oh wow I forgot about your second question I'm sorry! I thought I had some ideas but whenever I think more about it the more I realize that while I do enjoy doing it (like graphics) I don't do it enoug in order to make it a career or anything. So no, I don't have much of an idea right now. I do know that whatever it is I don't want it to involve much Math. But if anything, I guess I could follow my mom's footsteps and get a Real state license and help her out until I can find my own path.

I don't see why not! In fact you can hold the house party at my house; it's pretty much made to be a party house with speakers that can play music all throughout the house, the way it's set up with the kitchen, florida room, and bar. Then of course we have a swimming pool and we also have a large backyard so people can hang out there as well! :D

I love Tales of the Abyss. Though I went through some phase in which I didn't think it was that great to Symphonia after replaying it and reviewing the characters, while I still like Symphonia just a bit better, I really enjoy the depth that Abyss gives some of it's character. It may not be like it at first, but when you go through a character and think more about them they gave in some thought. Though, as far as I'm concerned the Tales of Games are good at that in general.

That said while there are still some things about the game that I dislike (though I've grown to tolerate much of what I disliked in the past) it's a great game and I'm glad that I had come to realize that right after Symphonia, Abyss might just be my second favorite. In all honesty, I think in some respects I like the antagonists more than the protagonists which make it depressing what happens in the game.

Also there is a timeskip in the game and after the timeskip it's all just downhill and at the end I'm pretty sure I'm a puddle of tears. At least until what happens to the guy who is currently my theme. ;; Not sure if this answers your question but if it doesn't feel free to ask more about it!

As for Kingdom Hearts: Story wise I liked Days the best. I understand that many people didn't like Days and don't like Xion, but I loved the story (not so much the gameplay). I mean, the storyline is slow at first but then after a certain day it starts accelerating and at the end I was a puddle of tears starting from the third day to the end. But I'm an emotional person so!! Gameplay wise I guess it would either have to be BBS or KHII. I do like KH3D but I've yet really gotten the hang of some things and I've also yet to get through the game myself. I've only watched all the cutscenes on Youtube haha!

I used to do Marching Band but that was back in High School. These days I sometimes take walks (usually with my sister) when it's not steaming hot outside. I would love to get back into bicycling again but right now I'm so out of shape I can barely go up and down the street without getting tired (though to be fair our street is like 1/2 mile long, so a mile up and back). I also enjoyed swimming in the past and also wish I kinda stayed with it but it was difficult once we moved from Colorado to Florida and we just had a shallow pool to play pool games in and not a big pool (YMCA) a few minutes away haha.

Honestly? It depends on the person, how much I care, and what exactly it is. If I accidentally didn't do something for my sister then I would do my best to make up for it. But if it was someone that I had just met well then they probably shouldn't have trusted me with it in the first place. :V I know this makes me sound like I'm an untrustworthy person but in all honestly I really am sometimes. It really wagers on my mood, who you are, and how important it is. But, in general, I suppose I'll try my best if its someone that I don't want them to stay mad at me.

As for Ice cream I like, Vanilla, Cookies and Cream (especially Oreo), and Cookie Dough! :D Also Strawberry Shortcake, Cake (depending on the brand though), and I'm sure there is some other brand that I'm missing. But for the most part ice cream that has vanilla aha!

Oh man I wish! It would be great to play in the marching band again. Alas, everyone has gone their separate ways now so I don't believe that the band during my years could play. But since it was a High School marching band they're still around! My brother is just about to end his senior year and he played the Trumpet.

makes sense. I think that it how it is for a lot of people. But after I got through the very slow part of the storyline I liked the story enough to continue playing it despite the lackluster gameplay haha.

Most games (like Pokemon) I end up just finishing the storyline and that's it. There is one, maybe two games that I would like to get 100% in but that will still be a long time until I am actually able to achieve that. I think I have beaten some games 100%, but they're the ones with little extras.

Currently no because I'm never online long enough to really make a new team and battle with others, or even go onto showdown. Maybe when my laptop is working properly and everything is right will I try to jump back in for the.. fourth times? ahah whoops.

What kind of graphic designing stuff can you do?

the best thing I can do according to others are avatars. I do signatures here and there but I am nowhere near say like... Derozio or Gavin. I've made a few other pieces but I haven't done much. Especially not recently. Everything I've done in the past year that I have actually bothered putting into the gallery is well... in my gallery haha.

Red! It's been my favorite color since Middle School and it still is to this day~ But for the most part I like the darker shades of red than normal red. Too much of that blinds my eyes. Before Red it was Yellow, and right now I think it would be my second favorite? Main reason is because yellow is a very good color on me.

Where'd the name BinaryPeaches come from?

It's quite a story! Basically it derived from another username that I used to use (DigiPeachFruit). My friend and I used to go 'DigiPeachFruit, the Peaches are Binary' (we were thinking the digital world here okok) and eventually I decided to change it to BinaryPeaches. The story is usually longer than this but I gave you the short version.

If you could date anyone in the world who would it be and where's you take them/what you'd do?

Oh god uhm.... I don't really know tbh. I don't really have any idols or anything. :( I'm going to cheat (if this is even cheating) and say I would hunt down my soul mate, date him, and we would travel the world. And then settle down and live close to my sister because I say so.

I haven't really thought about it, especially since I'm not active enough in any other forum to ever really be considered a candidate. In all honestly I'm perfectly happy with what I have and the random jumps I make to other forums from time to time.

I have too many don't make me choose. :( But if I had to I really liked my Osorezan Revoir theme and I also really like the twin theme that I did with my sister. The latter especially because it is still the theme that had lasted the longest to date, not including the time I went on hiatus from PC.

Well, it sparked when I read more Pokemon Special than what I have read in the library. I really started to like Red as a character (it didn't help that his name is my favorite character ahaha...) and eventually it grew into the obsession that I had for about... two years? At least here on PC.

In the past I had called Pokémon Trivia my baby and Other Trivia/Forum games that child that could be a piece of work sometimes due to the drama that was occurring at that time. Even though drama doesn't occur in Forum Games anymore I still find myself liking Pokémon Trivia more. Still my baby~ ♥

Have you ever met/considered meeting someone from PC?

Not including my sister (obviously) I've met two people from PC! The first person I met was Donavann (Donavannj) when he came down here to Florida to visit me. Then when my family went up to Minnesota I met Anna (EternallyAnna) at the Mall of America our last night there. Both times I had a blast seeing them! :'D And maybe one day I'll meet someone who doesn't live in Minnesota haha. Shivi lives literally like... 15-20 minutes away from me so ~one day~.

How long does it tend to take you to become good friends with someone?

It depends! Sometimes I just click with someone and we're pretty good friends right off the bat. But sometimes it takes a little bit to become good friends with someone and sometimes well... it just doesn't work out. I try to be good friends with most of the people who I talk to. At least those who bother to talk to me more than once or twice haha.

I've always wanted to get to know you a bit better, so hopefully this'll be a start XD

What instrument did you play while you were part of a marching band?

I played the Clarinet! Looking back on it now there are several instruments I wondered I could have picked up instead but in the end I really enjoyed playing the Clarinet and I still really like hearing it in music. It's kind of a subtle instrument so you never really hear it but when you do it's gorgeous.

Which room do you least use in your house?

Well there's my brother's room that I don't use very often haha. But other than his room I guess it would have to be ... my sister's bathroom? Or my mom's bathroom. Non-personal rooms it would have to be the office/guest room. I still go there pretty frequently but not as often as the Living/Dining Room, Family Room, Kitchen, and Florida Room which I go in every day. I also don't actually go into the bar area now that I think about it, but I'm not sure if you want to consider that a room. Or the garage.

Any pets?

Yes!! In total there are five animals in this household. First we have the dog named Cooper. She's a Jack Russel Terrier (long haired) and if you ever met her she would be the most docile JRT that you would probably ever meet. Then we have the two parakeets, Baby and Uno. Baby is actually Uno's father, and Uno was the first (and sadly, the longest living) bird when Baby's mate (also passed away) had eggs. After that we have Arthur the Hamster. Fast little rascal that once was out of his cage for like... four days before we found him running on his wheel and quickly closed his cage before he could escape again. idek.

Finally we have my baby (the parakeets are mom's and the hamster and dog are my sister's)! Her name is Merlina and she's a Bearded Dragon. I bought her in January when I got the money to do so and now she's about 9-10'' or so. :'3 She's a cutie and I love her very much. She was actually named Merlin at first (as you can't tell the gender of a Beardie until it's a certain length) but when I realized she was female we just casually stuck the 'a' at the end of her name (it was a 'da' but Mom kept saying Merlina so it stuck). I can probably talk random things about her for a while but I'll spare you.

I can probably post pictures of all our animals later! Or if not at least the birds, dog, and beardie. I don't have a picture of the hamster right now and I don't know how easily I can get one haha.

every now and then. Admittedly not as much as I should or like to. I can't play it as well as I used to.

Don't let the mods say anything. Not sure if anyone say this coming though haha. But when I came back to PC after my nine month hiatus this thread had just started (version 1.0!) ever since I started to post there, despite all the drama that has occurred there, I've has a blast there and made plenty of friends via that thread, got me to stick around and be more active, and so on and so forth! So it's still one of the first threads that I go and check out when I sign onto PC.

And now pet pictures! All of these are twoish months old because my phone camera didn't want to work today. But all of them look the same as they did back then (except Merlina who is a inch or two bigger. But other than that she generally looks the same as well). Also because of this I don't have a picture of Arthur, only of his bedding when he made a outlining of his castle house with it.
