• Edward Cullen fangirls. Really, people, he looks like a foot. Not attractive at all.
• People who think that Stephenie Meyer set the bar for vampire greatness.

  I will happily inform you that Lestat de Lioncourt, creation of the brilliant Anne Rice, could ignite every single one of the Twilight "vampires" with a single thought. Vampires don't bloody sparkle. What nonsense is that? They die when exposed to sunlight! With the exception of Lestat, but he's special and drank the blood of the Queen. I could go on about Edward and Bella not having any real connection, but I'll save hat for later. In a nutshell, Lestat > Twilight vampires.
• Scene/emo kids.

  Life is not a dark abyss of misunderstanding. But when you sit in your room in the dark all day convincing yourself that it is, then it just may well seem that way. Spending hours in the bathroom fixing your hair to be able to see out of one eye boggles my mind. You say you're unique - wrong. You're not the first to pull this crap. Just be quiet, please. Your music sucks, too.
• Close-minded people.

  You know what kind of people I'm talking about - the kind that refuse to listen to the reasoning of an intelligent teenager or even hear out their beliefs because A.) We're teenagers, we know nothing in their eyes, and B.) Their beliefs have been so ground into their heads that they're afraid to know differently.
• The paparazzi. I'd like to tell them exactly what I think they can do with their fancy cameras.
• Poor grammar. I know I'm not perfect, but please, at least make an attempt to sound like a human being.
• People who create mountains out of molehills, and people who can't get over things.
• Men who treat women like dirt and/or a piece of meat.

  I have had a few boyfriends in my life, and I tell each and every one of them the exact same thing that my mother told her boyfriends as a teenager. If any male lays a hand on me or intends to physically harm me, they had best be gone when I get up. Because I will find you, and I will have a two-by-four with me. God help you.

• Oh, those insane Catholics.

  I am Catholic. But I'm kind of a lousy one. I hardly attend church. But I do not believe in things that the radicals believe in, like if you're gay then you've reserved your hotseat in Hell. No, no, no. That's silly and ludicrous. I'm also not going to shove my religion down your throat. I've known several people like that in my life, and I no longer associate with them. However, if someone stands in my face and tries to tell me that my believing in God is wrong and that I should stop, I will, without hesitation, stand up for my religion and tell them to back off. Radicals have blown the basics of Catholicism horribly out of proportion, and I am tired of being looked down upon for my religious upbringing.
• Cigarettes. I still haven't figured out what's so great about coating your lungs in such tar that you could pave a highway.
• People who thought Steve Irwin got what was coming to him.
• Followers. People who try to be a carbon copy of their friends. I.E., my sister. It disgusts me that these people cannot be their own person because their friends won't accept that. It's ridiculous.
• Naruto and Death Note.

  I don't hate these shows at all. On the contrary, I was among the first to watch/read these before they became a world wide epidemic. But then everyone jumped on the bandwagon and dedicated their lives to them, watching all the episodes in a few days, or reading all the manga in one sitting. Then they tried to tell me about it like I knew nothing. This bring me to my next, and hopefully final, gear grinder.
• People who "steal" things.

  I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about. For me, it was anime/manga with my sister. I started watching anime and reading manga several years ago. About a year and a half after I started to get into it, my sister became obsessed (in that childish way where she's trying desperately to catch up to my level of knowledge). Or, when you've liked a band for a few years and then quite suddenly someone else, who's never heard of them before, pops up in your face and tries to tell you everything that they've learned about the band last night like they're the bands number one fan. Please, get out of my face. Don't act like you're a fellow fan of the band. You just discovered them yesterday, you can't pronounce their names properly, and you've already got your hair cut like the lead singer. gtfo.

Ugh. I apologize for the painfully long rant. But it felt good to get that all out. I'll be shocked if I don't get flamed or something for this.

People who are way too obsessed with one thing. I sat beside these girls once in the school cafeteria and all I could hear was them, "OH MY GOD, I LOOOVE TWILIGHT!" "OH, I WISH EDWARD COULD BITE MEEEE," and then they started singing Jonas Brothers and My Chemical Romance songs. :/

This brings me to another point. People who thinks characters in books and movies are real. Edward Cullen is not going to jump out of the page and sweep you off your feet. He's not going to bite your neck and you're not going to marry him, walking down the aisle while sparkling in the daylight.

Like I mentioned in another thread, I hate music snobs.

I don't like it when people try to analyze me and prove they know me incredibly well. Especially if we're not even friends. You're not a shrink, so back off.

People who have to know all the current gossip. Who cares what's going on in someone else's life? Obviously yours isn't too interesting if you're relying on other peoples' lives for entertainment.

Celebrity tabloids. I don't give a flying eff who's dating who, who's breaking up with who, etc., etc. I don't care if Miley Cyrus is going to the local grocery store to pick up some things. I don't care if Jessica Simpson is leaving her house with no makeup. I really, really, don't give a damn.

• People that like to argue and then call it "discussion" when I tell them I'm tired of arguing
• People who think they're always right

• Attention whores
• People that think everyone within 50 feet of them wants to hear their headphones (or everyone in and around the apartment building wants to hear their car speakers)
• People that whine about school, a class, or an instructor constantly, yet never (or hardly ever) put forth any effort
• People who block hallways/doorways/etc. and don't move
• People who use their cell phones while driving
• Celebrities (the annoying ones, anyway)
  
• People that seem to think parties and alcohol are the epitome of college/young adult life. If anyone says to me on my 21st birthday "Hey, you can drink now!" I'll slug them.
• Football fanatics (the really insane ones)
