I would choose to become a moderator again, given the chance. There's no denying that the most fun I had as a member of this community was when I was a moderator and I'll freely admit that I miss it. Plus, there's always a feeling that the rank of supporter is bought, while the rank of moderator is earned after considerable hard work within the community.
As for the whole perk argument: I feel like the perks you get as a supporter (of any tier) don't match the ones you get as a moderator. If you have a forum that you enjoy posting in, then modding it makes the experience of becoming a PokeCommunity member oh-so different - in a positive aspect, of course. Not to mention, for me personally, I never really use large avatars (I always prefer 100 x 100), I've never even used larger profile pictures, and I don't utilise PokeCommunity's album system (I much prefer Flickr). So the perks you do get as a tier-6 supporter don't even matter to me.
