What do you guys think of it? And no, I don't know who that's suppose to be I just made a random guy.

the hair is tad to straight and needs some more shading, also, those eyes are REALLY big! other than that, It's a great start, 7/10

well, the little girl looks weird cause she isn't holding things anymore, and I don't see how you did all those things custom, since it's just a recolor of the school girl sprite, without a lunchbox, add something in her hands, like a birdcage o_O

For your information, I did read. Don't try to tell me I don't know what I'm talking about. If you use a base, you can't say this is "??% Custom." If you use a base, it's called an edit.

You might want to check out the stickied thread, Spriting Terminology. This is taken straight from there.

Edit: You edit a sprite, add on custom parts, change the anatomy a bit, etc. etc.
Custom/scratch: Not using anything to start off with. A good custom sprite can give you many good marks as a spriter.

I find that funny, as on most spriting forums I've been to, the act of custom sprites are referred to as customizing and not scratch sprites.

Looks good to me. The only thing that caught my eye is the black outline on the turtle neck that stands out a lot. I'd go with a darker maroon there or maybe just a thinner black line.

My bad...but either way it looks too dark to me. That's just my opinion though. Not a big deal. :P It's still a great job.
