You can save it as .jpg if you need to

Oh my God. That is the single worst thing you could ever do in spriting, ever. JPEG is for photos, not delicate pixel works.

Jpeg is worse than GIF, any experienced spriter here will tell you that.

I've seen sprites saved in the .gif file. They're worse then sprites in the .jpg file. But, whatever, keep on believing what you want to believe. If all you wanna do is start arguments with me, I don't see why you keep on posting in this thread and then not even making an effort to do what I say (i.e., split your Magikarp sprites since they are together) to get your sprites on the list. Feel free to down rep me all you want, people. =/​

I didn't make the Magikarp, it's the official R/S/E sprite, I knew that if I posted ANYTHING that I said was mine, you'd deliberately try and fault it. Thank you for proving me right. The original point I was going to make was that the official backsprties from gen 3 were just gen 2 revamps anyway, so revamping backsprites would be pointless. However after you picked on faults that weren't in my Electabuzz, i just couldn't resist posting the Karp.

Apart from the added dots, the sprite is fine, it can easily be salvaged.

The sprite now has far too many colours (something like every 3rd pixel is a different colour to what it was) the image is distorted beyond repair and shading is now completely ruined.

And, by the way, I never said "that sprite sucks, I'm not going to use it", I only said to split the sprites up. Regardless of whether or not it was the actual sprite, I didn't point out any kind of 'fault' in it. So I suppose I just proved you wrong.

I did contribute, with criticism. And a sprite, which I've shown to atleast 5 other spriters here, all whom agree with me on the tail, you refused to accept it even though the fault you pointed out doesn't exist. Other members and even a Mod have backed me up in this thread and you are still too stupidly up yourself to consider that "hey, maybe they're right".

Oh well, forget it, run your unorganized, unruly project the way you want.

p.s - I've not actually spammed. At all. And there's no rule against Criticism, in fact the rules encourage it.

How about you zoom in and take a look at the utter atrocity that is JPEG?
Foxhound! is right, GIF is better than JPEG.
You can at least fix a gif-tized sprite.

Oh, I'm sorry Espeon~, I completely missed your Pikachu revamp. The coloring looks good, though it seems like there's too much yellow outline on its left arm, ya know? Perhaps you can add a little bit of black?​

I didn't even do anything. =( I did take FoxHound!'s advice and I did not abuse any rep. I was being nice to FoxHound! up until the point that he started to insult me (i.e., calling me stupid, and you can't say he didn't since it's even in the thread), so I don't see why I'm​

made out to be the bad guy here.


I told him and the moderator here that I did take FoxHound!'s advice and have toughened up considerably. If you look at my list, you know it to be true. So I don't see why this is being drug out more than it has to. .


I've already apologized to those that may have taken offense into what I've said, but it's not my fault that people just can not drop this. I know I may have made some mistakes, and I admit to them, so I don't know why I'm getting into trouble for this. =/


I've even made efforts to drop it, but no one seems to want to. So, if you would please tell me why it's only me in the wrong. .​

Only the outline on the tips of the tail. That's an easy fix, right? I think all you need to do is put a bit more black there. But, hey, I'm not an expert, so. . Maybe it just needs darker yellow? ^^" But that's the only thing wrong I can see on it; the rest is great! =]


Chary, your Croconaw is beautifully done! But the top horn needs to be straightened out and pointed up. That's the only thing I see wrong with it.​
