Player blacked out...

With the newer games becoming much easier, I tend to blackout much less often than I previously did. Though when replaying the more difficult games such as Black 2 or Platinum, it does happen occasionally.

Usually whenever I'm playing a gym leader (could be any gym leader) and oh look I'm actually not quite as prepared for them as I thought I was. Seems to be very commonplace for me in the older games, eh heh. What's training?!

But I only technically get the screen, though. I tend to rage and turn off my game before the blackout screen actually occurs. :p

(Last time this happened was uh...Brawly in my latest Sapphire game. "FINE I'll take the hint and go train proper pokemon grumble grumble.")

I hardly lose any battles in the games but in ORAS, after I defeated the Elite Four and traveled around Hoenn trying to level up my weaker pokemon, I'll sometimes accidentally get stuck in a rematch, where the trainers Pokemon are way stronger than the Pokemon I am trying to level up. So.... yeah lol.

This doesn't happen to me often. To be totally frank, sometimes I tend to reset the game when i'm about to lose, especially if the loss I feel is TOTALLY garbage. But sometimes if I lose it's because I go in rather underprepared.

Similarly to above, it doesn't happen to me very often, either. I make sure to save before getting into an important match (Gym Leader battle, for example), and if I feel like I'm going to lose, I simply reset and prepare myself better.

Sometimes adrenaline rush happens and I just would battle opponent which is higher level than my team and realize I unable to take them down easily if my pokemon isn't equal or greater than the opponent's pokemon; most case are Gym Leaders, Elite Fours and Champion also Rival and I wasn't paying attention to my pokemon's level and get whooped easily

I recall blacking multiple times in SoulSilver against Chuck. In addition to being underleveled and only having three Pokemon in my team, (I was trying for a speedy Hall of Fame time or something) Poliwrath proved a bit too bulky and swept my party several times after spamming making effective use of Double Team. Quite a bit of money was lost, but the Exp. points gained from KOing Primeape was severely needed before we finally beat Chuck and got our badge.

Since I got back into Pokemon sometime in 2014 I have yet to black out. I always level grind and save before each battle. I dont know if I ever blacked out as a kid, maybe against Whitney?
