They arent. And the guys house in the flower meadow isnt on the dp map. Mabye shaymin is there and you take care of it bring it to full power and battle it later?
 
You mean kinda like in Emerald where you have to talk to Rayquaza, then it goes off and calms K/G, and then you can battle it again after?

I'm wondering if you can get shaymin in platnium whithout going to an event. that would be sweet
 
No, their not gonna give us a better chance than Japan, they are getting a Shaymin in Japan sometime ago, I think. And since they're getting it as an event, eventually we'll get it like Darkrai. And I feel like that Shaymin form changer may be event item, but probably not, I hope Shaymin comes before Platinum, like Japan, I really hope!
 
Has anyone noticed - This is the first game their UBER incorporating Event Pokemon.

You need a Movie Regigigas for one part,
And they're giving away "Glacida's flower" for Shaymin, which we aren't sure is available, in-game yet.

An uber is pretty much a Legendary Pokemon, or a pokemon with very high base stats, and a large movepool.

I meant, that you can get that without hacking, but as of now, you can only get SHAYMIN by hacking, or events. not in-game.
 
thats good, it makes feel better because i never hear of events (the flower thing). And bout the whole, not-being-able-to-get-shaymin-in-the-game thing really sucks! I never get events so i will probably have to hack it......heh
 
I wonder how wireless or Wi-Fi battles will work between D/P and Platinum when the Platinum player is using Origin Forme Giratina or Sky Forme Shaymin. How will the D/P player be able to tell which forme it is, if the D/P game uses the Another Forme/Land Forme sprite?

I'm pretty sure that DP is able to download new spites. Just look at your DS screen when you connect it to PBR or Ranch. It won't be a permanent download, of course.

i have no idea what you meant by the last sentence, but i read somwhere that the underground is going to be wi-fi.

very interesting... maybe theres some sort of switch that rotates the room around while the player stays in the same spot, so you can get to other platforms.
btw; are you the same zowayix from GCL?

any screenshots or pics? i dont have PBR or ranch...
but if thats the case, i suppose the new sprite would be on DP, either that or it wont connect to platinum, but that would be a first, all the others could connect with their 3rd version. but.... platinum is a far bigger increase than emerald/ crystal etc, they only added a few ubers and an extra place or so, but platinum compared to DP is far bigger.

Well hmm this is confusing. Um where are we and if on the shaymin part i think an event pokemon really never got this type of attention. Not even celebi.
