i thought i was the only one...

that's what im wondering. since the library is getting a makeover, im assuming the mythology inside it would be updated as well.

I wasn't promoting the idea of capturing people, I was just saying if the laws of nature apply it would be plausible. And don't you think they're already angry about "Cruelty to Animals" issue.

And how could you gather suffidient data to assune everyone is being immature after reading a single comment?

Anyway I don't care if Shaymin's uber I rarely use even non-uber legendaries...
 
it is logical. humans are mammals, and mammals are animals, so logically...
but either way, let's establish that you are not going to catch trainers, because a Pokeball is defined as:
"...a spherical contrivance... that is used by Pokemon Trainers to capture new Pokemon and store them when not in use."
therefore, you could not capture humans. end of story.

Yes, but when you all bring this up, it carries us away from the subject, (Off-topic). This thread is about discussing what could be in Platinum; not about wondering if a trainer could captured inside a Pokéball.
 
Yes, we should get back to the topic in hand here. Capturing trainers is remoniscent of old Gameshark codes that seriously messed the game up. Despite the fact that it will almost certainly never happen, in my opinion the idea is ludicrous.

As to the topic, I believe a new edition of CoroCoro is coming out soon to shed light on some more things? Or am I behind the times and it is already out?
 
I dont think It's out yet; however It can be long...

Edit: I am wrong as usual it is out and it has shed some light on some things on Platinum such as release date in Japan

It will actually depend how much Shaymin's Sp attack is.
Blissey takes Gengar's focus blast hitting at 240 power( SE) coming from a 350 base power. That's only a 3HKO. So if Shaymin has like 394 sp attack that could be troublesome, if it keeps getting the sp defence drop.
Icebeam'ing blissey should be able to take it down.

However, that was just an example. So don't flame me. lol, if blissey isn't able to wall, then try special defensive registeel, it takes airslash and seedflare, and it has access to icepunch. =P

We don't no anything about shaymin yet, so we can't say it's uber, right?

Actually, i meant like there could be a new mini game involving them or something. Why else would the be pixely like that? No need to get all weird like that.

no, i was just throwing out an idea. I probably shouldn't have said it like that though since its bringing up so much confusion...
but does anyone think that it could be hinting at a new minigame or anything?
