Regarding Glacidia's Flower, what would happen to a Shaymin obtained other than the movie in the future. Like how Darkrai is also obtainable through Battonage. Would that Shaymin be able to use the flower as well even though it was obtained legitimately. I guess the only quick fix is to not have another Shaymin availability other than the movie. Better make sure I go to the one in America once its available.

they would make it only work on the movie shaymin, you know how event pokemon have special OTs and IDs, it would only work on a shaymin with the same OT and ID as the movie shaymin.
 
Does anyone have any information on when Platinum is to be released?
In Australia is preferred but just so I have an idea...

According to Serebii, there was a small comment in a Pokemon Sunday promo video for Platinum saying Glacidia's Flower can only be used for a Movie Shaymin. Quite unfortunate.
 
Moslty yes up to now hiroshi. Im still pissed bout it.
 
it is not fair that shaymin will not be obtainable in the game. I dont know how i would be able to get it (since i live in US) there arent that many events, and when there are they are either in like New York, or California. It Stinks. I guess i could hope that they make the movie for the US.....

Well I just finish watching the Platinum videos on Pokemon Sunday and here's some new info:
-Gravity in the Torn World is lighter, meaning you can jump around platforms
-The camera angle changes as you travel along Torn World
-Sky Forme Shaymin has a different cry from Land Forme Shaymin

Not much new info based on watching the video but it is interesting to know Shaymin Sky has a different cry from Land. Giratina could possibly have a different cry as well.

That Platinum trailer was awesome. I don't understand what you mean by sparkles. A time when it shows it on the other video would be helpful. And Torn World reminds me of the Canalave Gym Leader's Gym, with platforms that move in all directions.
 
Yeah but the new layouts of the gyms are cool.Ok on the video i posted around 0:33 you see the ring of light around the ow? Thats what. Also i didnt see it fully. Darn i cant wait.
 
Nice vid- just wish I had a clear map of the new Sinnoh region, this one is bugging me... kinda. It don't show it clearly!

I already damn well know about Sky forme Shaymin. That's what I was referring to, Sky Forme Shaymin knowing Air Slash and having Serene Grace, not a very good thing for Togekiss...

I would still prefer Togekiss over Sky Forme Shaymin. Togekiss can learn Thunder Wave while Shaymin can't. It still hasn't been confirmed if it will be capable of learning new TM's through the change but because Deoxys Formes do not learn different TM's, I believe Sky Forme Shaymin won't either.

But there's still the stats to wait for and see.

A flying Shaymin sounds a bit odd...even if it's in Sky Forme.
