Aw man, I figured it wouldn't last long, haha. If I was able to use my 64 console, you'd know what I'd be doing right now. :) 'Cept I have to go to school right now. But after class...

I'm going to see if I can switch my console with the one back home, as it has a different system of connecting to the TV. Won't be able to do this until late October unfortunately, so I'll miss the League Cup.

Don't worry 'bout the League Cup, Embernight, we can just keep it around and battle it out between friends!

I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm giving up on Shuffle Mobile! Keeping two on the go is just too much and the 3DS version is so much better! I'll keep it installed though in case I change my mind or there are more cross promotions.

A quick Puzzle League question for yous... Which Pokemon do you use for the Gym Leader battles? I prefer Pikachu most but was wondering if there was any strategy to the choice, like do different types do more damage?
 
Hey, you're welcome, and I'm definitely having fun. Especially with all of my stupid, stupid nicknames.

Also I tend to switch my pokémon up a lot for the story mode so I don't hear the same voice clips over and over again, especially when you lose to a guy like 6 times in a row. I'm looking at you, Bruno.

Haha yeah you do have a point with hearing the same voices over and over! I don't mind the Pokemon so much but Ash tends to grate, bless him! What I find hilarious is when my brother asks what the hell have I've been playing after hearing all these weird noises!
 
I've been poking around a bit and stumbled across here, reading the posts, it's got me super excited to play these games again after such a long time! This'll be fun!

Currently playing: Always up for a game of Puzzle League/Challenge, I haven't played Trozei in years, and I don't play Shuffle a whole bunch either.
Answer a current or past topic: I'm not too crazy about graphics in games... Pretty much every game ever looks just fine to me. But when it comes to those little details... That's another story. What really jumps out at me though, is how the background of the Challenge mode in Puzzle Challenge is designed! And just the whole challenge mode overworld itself, really. The road, the character, the Elite four, and best of all, the little Johto region in the background! It's surprisingly faithful to the games, if you look closely. I love it! Coupled with the awesome credits music, it makes it all the better.

...So as it happens, I've been playing some Puzzle League recently and decided to take a shot at Marathon mode!

I agree about the graphics and music in Puzzle League, they really do add a lot to the game.

So I've kinda neglected this community recently but do have plans!
 
I certainly didn't expect to be on the top of the leaderboard, honestly...! I guess it's because I always doubt my skills in most games... My brother even tells me that I'm better than I say I am. (We play Vs. in this game all the time!)

Braviary is definitely one my favorites, yes. For sure my all time favorite Flying Type! Funny story how I chose him, actually. I was looking through the Battle Trozei icons, and I didn't like how most of my favorite Pokemon looked... I was originally going to choose Skorupi as my Pokemon, but then noticed he would look silly next to the bigger and cooler looking Pokemon like Heracross, Noivern and Aggron. {XD}

I think I might play some more Pokemon Shuffle... I'm only on stage 32 or something ridiculously low like that. :3c
 
I haven't played Shuffle in so long, I got to stage 181 but I haven't caught all of the pokémon in Wacky Workbench Workshop yet. Froakie, I am looking at you. I did get most of the Expert stage pokémon though, I've unlocked all the stages up until Yvetal and they're all really useful to use.

I did actually play the original Trozei recently, and I thought it was just okay.

So for Shuffle I'm currently at 243 stages cleared and 275 Pokemon caught.
For the main stages I'm up to Staraptor and unlocked Mewtwo in the expert stages.

As we're talking Shuffle, let's make it our new topic!

What I like about Shuffle, other than the gameplay, is the social aspect to it. Like how we all receive the updates at the same time and look forward to new special stages and competitions together. Though I think they should increase the numbers for mega stone qualifiers!

What do you think of the music in the puzzle games? Do you ever catch yourself humming them? It's pretty good. I've never caught myself humming them.

Since the first post doesn't clearly say anything about this, I have to ask that is using emulator allowed? If yes, here's records for Pinball RS and if not, beating them should still be good challenge.

I completely agree! All the Legendaries and such they come out with is always exciting. ...And then I realize I can't even scratch them because I don't have very good Pokemon... And that also means I have little to no hope of qualifying for competitions as well, But still fun all the same! I still want a Charizardite Y though :(

Also, I gotta say, I really like the Timed mode in Shuffle! It allows you to go crazy with the matches without thinking, instead of staring at the screen for what feels like hours looking for the most optimal move to make! (At least, that's how I play the main stages {XD})
 
I always panic in the timed stages and any stretegy goes out the window! {XD}
I wish there was an option to turn off the hints, I find them really distracting!
Btw, for those who play Shuffle, do you play on 3DS, Mobile or both?
 
I'm 3DS too. I do have it installed on my iPhone but it just got too difficult keeping up with both and it was weird starting again. Keeping my eye out for more cross promotions though! I also find it easier and more satisfying playing on the 3DS too.

Have you been collecting Mega Speedups? Who have you used them on? This might shock you but I've been giving them to Heracross! He's actually pretty useful which is a bonus! Before he got added I think I gave one or two to Lucario and perhaps one to someone else. I guess the upside to not winning the Mega Stone competitions is less choice!

I hope Aggron gets added soon for you, Laguna!

Are there any Pokemon that anyone's longing to see?
 
Also a 3DS player. :P

I only have one Mega Speedup right now, and it goes unused as of now. I plan to save it until I get a Mega I'm satisfied with. (Also because I'm extremely cheap with limited quantity items, and that means all of my jewels remain unused as well {XD})

As for Pokemon, I can't really say... Because who knows? Any Pokemon that I would want might already be in the game, I just haven't reached them! :P
