Well more on the hack, I've restarted like the majority of us. :s I found out to repoint into free space in the rom since that was my most major problems there. I've gotten some mapping down again and I'm planning down some scripts for the starting town. I'm also finding out some behavior bytes for tiles in FR and it's tedious but very rewarding. I feel like I'm going at a slow pace but it seems like the best way to prevent glitches and the number one defense against restarting.

I feel like (when posting screenshots) I've been focusing on other things than the main storyline and scripting... soooo I'll be focusing on those two things a little more from now on. In the meantime.

Hey! It's been a while I last updated...

Screenshots of the Running Shoes event.
You'll receive the running shoes as a parting gift from your brother. I really can't stand walking in the ADV games so I decided that you can get them as soon as you walk down the stairs. :]

Progress has been going on steadily. I got the hang of replacing music tracks (successfully). Expect to hear loads of R/S/E music and a couple of new tracks as well!

More scripts and events in the next update!

Aside from the, uh, mildly cliché plot which people have already pointed out, this hack looks excellent. :3 Nice smooth pallettes, and excellent mapping. Not to mention nice presentation. However. Keep in mind that gameplay is always preferable to graphics, and that no matter how truly excellent your scenery is, if it's a bland plot than it's a bland game. Since it's before beta 1, there might still be time to add to your plot. Make your characters interesting, your villains evil but motivated, your world convincing. You want to impress people with screenshots? Very well, keep your game the way it is. You want to impress people with a game? Make your game worth their while.

I'll be watching this game's progress. :3 Keep up the good work. ^^

Yeah, I'm going to change the plot whenever I get the time to (I already have a few ideas in mind already).

I'm trying my best to make this hack equally satisfying in gameplay and in graphics (although I do know that gameplay is always more important.) I'm pretty much done focusing on the graphics and now moving on and focusing more on the gameplay (scripts, etc). I'm going to incorporate as much scripts and features as I can to satisfy the player's thirst for gameplay but at the same time give them a little eye candy as well.

To be honest, at the sate that the hack is in right now, I can honestly say that it has nothing redeeming besides the graphics and such. But, now that I pretty much prepared the icing, I'm able to focus on going for the entire cake now. Again, I'll make sure to incorporate a good chunk of gameplay and features and make this hack the best I can with my current ability.

There is only one male hero, the one with the black hair is the one that will be in the game. The other one is an outdated one, so don't worry about it.

Well it's been a while since I last updated - don't worry, I've been working on this hack the entire time. I've started out on a fresh slate, again... this time I started out doing all kinds of things first. Once I was done with them I could get them out of the way. Since I started out again, the hero's overworld will be Red again (since I didn't get to OW editing yet...)
