I just warped to the area in the beginning of the game, I just talked and battled with him for the sake of the screenshot. :p

Well it seems like it's been a while since I've last updated. I'm back working on this hack again, schoolwork aside. You may notice that I've updated the format of the presentation post and remade the entire story. I'm currently starting to re-map most areas onto a fresh rom. Strangely enough I've started with the town where you get your second badge.

Standing outside the gym, seems to be up high.

Scarlet town is a small town. Pretty much nothing to do there other than to get your second badge and getting the Sprayduck. Why would you need a Sprayduck? Certainly there aren't any berry trees that you can water so why do you need it? Find out in the next update!

Well that's pretty much it. Anyways I'm almost done with spriting the hero overworld, expect him to be in the next update.

Scarlet Town looks very nice. The mountain mapping is very well done. I wonder what the Sprayduck is for...

I did find an error, though. Look at the red circle.

There is an extra level on that part of the mountain.

Looks very good. Now I think I know what the Sprayduck is for.

Anyway, I did notice one tiny error (Sorry, but if I don't point it out, it will bug me forever :P). See, in the screenshot, the tree top that has a circle around it is not the overlapping one, like it is supposed to be.

Well that's pretty much it for the screenshots so far. In the next update (which won't be anytime soon), expect to see some scripts and in-battle screens.

Some recaps on the events so far, look at your own risk.

Spoiler:

So far in the hack the main events are the Weather Institution and some other event that will be right after solving the tree problem. (expect to have a short rendezvous with a guy named Jymi). You'll need the Cut HM after this point in order to progress further into the game. Good luck finding it, I have it well hidden inside the route. :p

This one looks pretty good. The new palettes are good, and I like the story and mapping as well. Nice job with getting in tiles like the lamppost. I'm keeping an eye on this hack. :D

Well it's been a while since I last updated.

I've put this hack on hold but I'm working on it again.

I'd all like to welcome you to Galena City. It's the gateway to the southern part of the region and also a major trading port along with boat transportation.

Spoiler:

Boat Transportation
You may get the ability to fly after getting the 3rd badge but it will be a while until you actually find the HM. Meanwhile, you have to depend on boat transportation to get to certain areas of the game. They'll be ports located all around the region, some in routes, towns, and cities. I'm currently creating a complex web of regional travel that are exclusive to these boats. So, they'll be a great way of getting around more quickly and efficiently! Note that there will be areas that you can only get to using boats!!

That's pretty much it for now.
