Emerald hack: Pokémon Black Pearl Emerald [V1.0.1] [COMPLETE]

Seems great so far, love all the convenience options and the trainers really throw hands. Lost my Taillow to the first gym leader but I'm excited to continue the nuzlocke.

Gotta say I really enjoy it! Takes some getting used to the gen 8 & 9 pokemon and moves that I didn't know but that's alright. The convenience options are great, although a bit much in the first couple of minutes :LOL:Documentation is perfect, even the trainers can cause you some nasty surpises. Lost my nuzlocke run to the second gym but starting a new one straightaway 😁
 
overall solid difficulty hack. The difficulty was somewhat even throughout, however, the 3rd gym was WAY too hard. Mega houndoom at the 3rd gym? I can understand Mega beedrill because it's so frail, but Mega houndoom?! I only won when I found out quagsire was the best mon for it (not on my own). Also, there's too many filler battles. I don't think it'd necessary to have the player battle every single trainer on a route. It just becomes tedious and annoying by the end of the game. I do like the availability of pseudos early on, however, with the caps, some pokemon NEED to evovle earlier. My larvesta only evovled AFTER THE FIFTH GYM. Way too late.
Overall, the game was solidly fun. Pretty well-put together.

Appreciate the review. I hope that gym gets fixed. I'm just a casual player so I usually stick to vanilla difficulties.
 
So from what I've seen so far from YouTube it seems like a solid hack so I thought I'd check it out. And so far seems solid. I am curious though, I am playing the standard mode and when I get the items, I also get a candy jar.. Which I thought was for Nuzlocke only.. So is this normal. I mean I'm not complaining, just checking.
 
Agree on the regular fights being a bit tedious. You can't go in no thoughts head empty with them because their pokemon are pretty strong, but most of them are just 'here's 2-3 cool pokemon per trainer' and you have to fight them all. No real reward either since money and evs don't matter.

The bosses are insane fights and a lot of fun, but then the regular trainers are "hey we're here too"
 
By chance did you adjust the rate at which pokemon friendship grows? Have an Eevee (that was my starter) at Lvl 33 in Slateport (before the 3rd gym)...
 
Any changes to pokemon stats? I looked for it in the documentation but haven't seen it
 
So many AI's set move was too stupid. Almost SPEC.ATker has a PHysical move set. For ex : Thunder Punch's Marmogtar , Seed Boom's Roserade , Drain Punch's Reuniclus ( wtf ) ....etc.... Hope fix next Update. The game is fun
 
U should remove the game mod by press Select on battle. It look like cheat and would be unfair
