So the quoting technique worked pretty well, if I may say so. You'll get a free notification once I wrote a new chapter. If you happen to get bored of the story just ignore it (or say it) and I'll remove you from the list and stop bothering you.

41. An uncomfortable embrace

Location: Gonji Lakes

After giving you another intimidating gaze, the toad Pokémon lifts his arms to strike.

"Hey, what's that thing behind you?"

Your bluff surprisingly seems effective, no wonder when "as stupid as a Seismitoad" is a common expression here. You use his moment of confusion to slip by his right side and sprint further. The ponderous Pokémon won't be able to catch up!

A moment later the Seismitoad makes clear it doesn't even need to catch up. A long red tongue shoots out of its mouth as a missile and wraps around your body. On second thought, you think the expression "as gross as a Seismitoad" would be a better fit.

Scrambles falls on the ground while you're being pulled within the vibration Pokémon's arm reach. A strange voice echoes through your head. The Seismitoad's tongue prevents you from reaching your bag, but that doesn't prevent you from escaping, right?

Of course! You'll easily escape by...
1. ...punching Seismitoad in its face.
2. ...feeding it a couple of those purple berries.
3. ...make silly faces.
4. ...singing a lullaby.
5. ...letting Scrambles handle this.
The next chapter can be expected in about 72 hours.
 
Im so done with you guys if we actually catch a huge Poliwhirl wannabe. So done.

I was really tired and out of inspiration for the last week and got a little behind on both school work and PC "work", so I wasn't really able to write something. I'm trying to get back to updating the story on a regular basis.

42. The answer

Location: Gonji Lakes

You struggle against the powerful tongue, but there's no way it's going to let you escape. Some words echo through your head. Was it something that strange lady in Lornami Town said? You can't totally recall, so better try to get out of this.
You lift up your right hand and smack the Pokémon in its face.

It's not very effective...

Seismitoad is not amused and responds by wrapping his tongue even tighter around you, nearly strangling you. You shout for help with the little breath you have.

Your cry is answered in the shape of a...
1. a rock.
2. a force.
3. a sound.
4. a thought.
The next chapter can be expected in about 72 hours.
 
Im going with 2 i mean rocks do nothing a thought would probably mean theres voice in my head and im losing air so a force is good with me
 
Let's go with a force! Maybe the force could be from Sandshrew. :p
