4. Just gotta change FireRed to Destiny and the TS is done.

I feel like I'm updating too much too soon.
Am I? :/

  • Finished with Starter Town Progress
  • Finished with Hallow Gates Base Progress
  • Finished Mapping Route 1
  • Starting to script Route 1

Heyaa love the titlescreen! ^^ Nooo, you removed the DNS.
But that's okay. Are you planning to add New ow's as well rather than just pkmn sprites?

Yes, new OWs will happen.
I justneed to make them.

Gym Leader Theme:

Not much of an update, just mapping some maps, and musicing some musics.

Happy New Year guys!

Here's a small update.
[PokeCommunity.com] Pokémon Destiny Version

After doing stuff in Cyanic City, you must enter Gooey Cavern, which can be entered at two locations.
Route 2, and Cyanic City, they both lead to the same location though.

And, two small previews of Route 2.

Not bad, have you inserted any more fakemon as of late? :P

Not yet, the ROM I'm using contains no Fakemon, I've not the experience as a spriter yet to show it off properly when I release. I may just commission some good people on dA. If not, I'll struggle myself to make Fakemon.

Yay! That's from the Edgeworth game! Objection! Really like how it sounds for a gym leader battle, keep it up!

It is indeed from an Edgeworth Game. <3

I'm a full AA fan. So, expect more AA Music.

Wow lovely map, I wanna see more full mapshots! :P

Spoiler:

Here ya go! ^^'
Route 1. It took me all day.

Well.. the grasses scattered doesn't look good. The spaces on the left and right part doesn't look good too. And I think you should add more way and reduce the grassy areas. That's just on my eyes, if it does look good to you then go with it! :)

No point fretting about left and right spaces, you can't see about 56% of it.

Also: Scripting for the map is almost done too:
[PokeCommunity.com] Pokémon Destiny Version

Might be best to leave them alone for now...

Next is to do is Hallow base, a small route north of Route 1.
It's the gates to the Pokémon League, or Scarlet Hills.
You, obviously, can;t pass without eight badges.

Small update:
Almost finished scripting Crimson City.
Finished Scripting Route 1. <3

Hello,

I would suggest you to insert more Firered-style tiles.
This looks not only good but also gives the hack some variation!
But I will for sure follow up this hack =)

Finally scripting the starters.
You get the choice for more later.

It seems that you have positioned your PokePic(s) a tad too high. There are actually a few commands you can use to coordinate them, and if memory serves me correctly, they are "0x0" on the x axis (horizontally) and "0x4" on the y axis (vertically). I might be wrong, but just experiment with the "0x_" digits, and eventually you'll get it right. Hope this helps in some ways!

Edit:
I read what I wrote, and I felt that you might not be able to understand, but if you did, you can ignore this edit. Basically what I wanted to add was that the PokePic script is something like this:

#dynamic 0x800000

#org @start
lock
faceplayer
showpokepic 0xFD 0x0 0x4
msgbox @text
callstd 0x4
closeonkeypress
hidepokepic
release
end

#org @hi
= [Insert Text Here]

So basically, the bolded parts are the parts that determine the coordination/position of the PokePic on the screen. Hope this time it's clearer :O
