Hack Series: Pokémon Eternal X & Wilting Y [Version 2.67 Released]

Hi. Sorry if this has been answered before, but I just want to clarify, were any Alola mons added to the hack? I can't find them in the wild pokemon locations doc, so I'm assuming they're not in, but I just wanted to check.
 
Just want a bit of clarification, im new to the romhack stuff lmao. After step 5 in the rebalance install guide, where exactly do i go to disable title updates?

On a 3DS? System settings, then game data. My 3DS is currently at a repair shop so that's all I can tell you off the top of my head - might not be quite right. Look up how to uninstall an eshop game if you need more info.
 
I'm trying to complete the dex, and I have a question. Can I change my laptops time to get Rotom on non tuesdays?
 
Are you able to run Cheats with Checkpoint? My game crashes every time I try. I like using something that makes all Pokemon shiny just for personal preference.
 
Hi Buffel Salt! I'm in the middle of my very first Eternal X run (doing it as a HC Nuzlocke, hoo boy). It's challenging in a good way and I am really enjoying it. You did a great job. About to do the Poke Ball Factory double battle and I am more than a little worried about just wiping.

Question though! Is there any way to give a Pokemon its Hidden Ability after you catch it? I got a Goomy on my way to Laverre and it has Sap Sipper (nice!) but I was hoping I could swap it to Poison Heal. But since that's its HA, the ability pill just swaps back and forth between Hydration and Sap Sipper.

Edit: I used a Cherish Ball for the first time on my Laverre Town encounter (a Poliwag) and it had Swift Swim. Not sure if this is evidence of (1) random encounters sometimes having HAs or (2) the Cherish Ball forcing it to have its HA.

Can we use the no outline code on Citra? I've plugged it in and it just instantly crashes, so I'm assuming I can't, but if there's a way to do it, that'd be cool. I could post the code but am unsure if it violates any guidelines, hopefully the question is enough.
 
Hey Salt, trying to patch the online version to pokemon y on 3ds. I think I have done most steps correctly. However, the title screen is just showing the vanilla y title screen. Is this normal for the online version or should it display the eternal y title screen? Kind of new to patching on the 3ds so i might have missed something.

If you can find an older code that works with version 1.0 of the game that should work. I assume the code you're using expects the update to be installed, so that's why it crashes.

Just went back and got the wilting y title screen to show up so it should be all set. Looking forward to playing this hack!
 
Night sir, sorry if I distrurb your time. I want to ask about PK3ds. Can I change the rival starter choice script in Pokemon XY. I mean if I choose froakie, originaly shauna picks fennekin and serene picks chespin. I want to change that, I want shauna picks chespin and serena picks fennekin. Thank you
 
Hey quick question! How do I evolve my Inkay into a Malamar on an emulator?? I checked all the documentation on pokemon and evolution changes but I couldn't seem to find anything about it even with ctrl + f... Thanks!
 
Hello! So far I've loved the game since it really is a challenge compared to the original one.
I have one problem tho, i want to catch a Feebas in Parfum Palace but I just keep encountering Magikarps. I'm using a Old Rod btw. :(

Thanks! Are the other edited wild encounters working? Magikarp is quite rare there, so it's either really bad RNG or something isn't set up correctly.

Actually, i had an older version than the 2.67
I've updated it and now i have access to it! Thanks for the quick response tho :)
