Question, according to this https://ydarissep.github.io/Exceeded-Pokedex/?table=locationsTable&, a Nymble can be found in Petalburg Woods, but it says it can only be at a Hidden night?![]()
About the Hack
- Pokémon Exceeded is a emerald decomp with new features. One main feature is called Innate (a rather unique feature among Hack Roms), which acts as an ability of Pokémon, but the Pokémon can have up to three Innates. Some effects interacts with Innates like Mold Breaker like abilities, Gastro Acid, but other have no effects on them like Neutralizing Gas. And some Pokémon unlocks new Innates either by level, friendship, evolution or even quests!
Plot
- The story begins an alternate timeline where you and your rival, Red or Leaf, move to Hoenn before starting their journey in Kanto. In this timeline, as no brats got in the way of Team Rocket's plans, they dominated the Kanto region. Giovanni is teaming up with other villain teams to expand his hold over the Hoenn region.

Yeah I get this a lot, usually when I don't save 😁Anyone else's games freeze when certain moves are used? Usually they're moves with additional damage like whirlpool and wrap.
This hack is really cool, but it has 2 really bizarre bugs I've noticed that are hard to ignore.
As someone else mentioned, the audio appears to be slightly corrupted. Nearly all notes are shortened and in some case missing (It's more noticeable on some tracks than others, particular tracks with long notes.) It happens in both VBA and MGBA, and no it's not because I patched it with a bad ROM. The effect is similar to when audio channels interfere with each other, like when the low HP sound plays, except it happens at all times. Did you at any point repack the audio? I'm not really sure what else would cause it.
The other really bizarre issue I've encountered and do not yet know the reason for is that all wild Pokemon have 2 or 4 for their HP and Special Attack IVs. Gift Pokemon like my starter, Panpour, Kubfu, Tepig and Cosmog were the only exceptions to this so far. At first I thought maybe it had something to do with the new ability mechanics, like a synchronize for IVs or something weird like that.
I really don't know why. I played with the default game options with the exception of the shiny rate being increased by 5x and removing the PLA stat formulas.
I can't rule out the possibility that this IV bug is something with my save, but I really haven't done anything strange to it.
This might be the most fun GBA ROM hack I've ever played otherwise. Really love all of the new abilities and move adjustments I've seen so far, great ideas all around.
EDIT:I just tested it with a fresh ROM and used the absolute default options and the IV bug still occurs.
EDIT2:Amazingly, it also occurs when using the steal trainer's Pokemon feature, and set all trainers to max IVs. 4,31,31,4,31,31. It definitely doesn't appear to be just a visual error either.
I'm having this same issue. Default abilities and innates no matter what I try.Randomizing abilities and innates don't work.
This has to do with the PLA formula setting. It's on by default when you make a new save, so you have to disable it there if you don't want it.Hello,
I was really drawn to the changes proposed on paper by Pokémon Exceeded, but I'm running into a strange issue: no matter what I do when adjusting the cheat settings, wild Pokémon/opponents always seem to deal excessive damage (see my screenshot: I used Ember and only took off half the HP of my level 2 opponent, even though I'm level 15, and it took off 1/4 of my HP with a simple Tackle). Yet, I gave my Charmander 31 IVs and 80 EVs in every stat…

Do you know where this could be coming from ? Or if this is normal ?
(I'm using VBA)
Thanks in advance !
(and sorry for the poor english, I'm french)
