I have the same issue. Anyone got any ideas?

Everything I've tried hasn't worked unfortunately. Just have to wait for someone to come along with a fix. :(

EDIT: Must've glanced past the post about him going back to original starters but names not being changed. Glad that was resolved.

i downloaded the game and patched it properly but when i go to pick my starter it shows the right text but the sprite is a charmander's and it gives me one when the whole process is over with

can happen, since it was reset to the original starters, a lot of people have asked the same thing
seems many people dont think about reading the past post, well guess most are too busy to check previous posts

i have patched the HGSS sprites version but when i start on VBA the screen stays frozen white?

Edit: That issue is FIXED but the tutorial text right at the start is on a loop >_>

Just a guess- you may have patched the wrong FireRed rom. Make sure it's the v1.0 Squirrels one.

search lunar ips

then download at bottom of the thread 1.5a extract it after downloading then click lunar ips patch 1.5a to clean fire red rom or known as fire red squirrels.
