FireRed hack: Pokémon FireRed: Rocket Edition (Completed)

The video is 3 years old and right away there's no library option in the go tab :( I can try searching for an updated video. Once I have the save file from my old game, what exactly do I do next?

Once you do find your old save which should have the same name as the rom you previously patched, just rename it to the new patched rom's name. At least that's what I did and it worked perfectly

Hey man beta 3 is truly awesome work let me congratulate you for it! I'll be glad to take on the role of beta tester on the updates to come!.
So I've thinking about Team Rocket structure on the game,are you planning to introduce exclusive anime characters like Vicious,Domino,Atila,Juno and scientists like Mamba or Sebastian.
Some of them will fit quite fine if you decide to do the Johto plot on later betas also I'm all in favour of a cameo of Madam Boss(mother of Giovanni and old leader of Team Rocket).
Other details like the Team Rocket Balls could be sell on the base on Celadon City being cheaper and less effective than normal pokeballs.

While I could see this eventually spilling over to Johto, I personally feel this game will wrap with the FireRed/ LeafGreen storyline. If that's the case, I hope the creator may one day consider making a sequel for HeartGold/ SoulSilver.
Either way, I'm looking forward to a possible finale that explains what happened after Team Rocket officially disbanded, as well as why Blue took up residence as Viridian City's Gym Leader in Gold/ Silver, Red went to Mt. Silver, and Team Rocket's return in Gold/ Silver.

Against Bill my Pikachu, my last pokemon, suddenly turned into missingo and my game restarted at mission 6. Please fix.

Getting the trainer license was just a side quest, to get the surf HM go to rockets main base (where the game started at) and talk to the same scientist that gave you the HM at the very beginning.

Sadly, forum rules forbid me to post image of my newly captured team member even when I'm member of this community for 9 years (but sadly lost my account due to my stupidity), so I'm just gonna say that after years of waiting, somebody finally gave life to the popular rumor and for that, I like this game even more.
Had to start over because forgot that patching needs to be done on a clean rom and then wondered what went wrong xD. Later realized mistake but already was further than before.
Also, fisherman brother NPC in Fuchsia City freezes the game the first time he is approached. I loaded the save and next time it worked normally, but could be annoying if people doesn't save frequently.
Anyway, I'm following this hack since its beginning and I'm already hyped for next release. This hack just gets better and better. Good job, mister colonelsalt.

I don't know if anyone else has brought it up yet, but the move dragon tail is bugged. It does damage, but at the same time works as if it were roar. If you keep using it and finally make one of the revolving pokemon faint, a negative colored silhouette of the fainted pokemon will remain visible as well as the new pokemon. In my case I bought a dratini from the casino and stopped evelution until the move was learned. Also as mentioned before, the fisherman in Fushia mission freezes the game the first time you try. Other than that though I am literally enjoying this game more than the regular game itself. Incredible work, and an A++ on the story development. If there is any way to make donations to help with the next beta, I would love to know! I hope it comes out soon!

I just thought of this, when you steal a Pokemon such as Macjoke or Kadabra it should evolve : )

Wow.
Absolutely incredible, phenomenal game, man. I have to say, after grinding through the entirety of this beta in a day, this might be my new favorite rom hack of all time! The story was well-written and engaging, the characters were nicely fleshed out and interesting, and the mechanics were top notch. I've never been more excited for an update to come out!
I have very little to complain about, but I did encounter a glitch on Route 15. The first biker you encounter (when going towards Fuschia) caused my game to freeze and crash when my Pidgeot used Fly against one of his pokemon, and after defrosting I checked to see if it would happen again and it did. Other than that though, the game played flawlessly.
Some suggestions I have:
1) It's kind of a bummer that you can only turn in pokemon to the police. I have three boxes filled with extra mons I'm never going to use, but I also don't want the price on my head going down by turning them in. Perhaps you could include someone in the Rocket HQ that you can turn pokemon in to for items/tms (especially considering grunts usually steal pokemon for Team Rocket and not themselves anyways).
2) After the robbery in Viridian, you should be able to rob pokemarts as you please, especially since the shop in the game corner is so limited. Either that, or the Rocket's mart should update with new items each time you rank up.
3) I also think you should be able to rob the npcs that give Red tms and items (not necessarily key items like rods, but perhaps after becoming an executive you could have the power to take the smaller things at least).
The game is awesome without those inclusions, however, and I'm thoroughly impressed with your progress. I look forward to seeing where you take things from here!

Very True, I definitely agree with this idea. It would also be a way to partially make up for the Low profile way getting better stuff.
Also, I would like to see re-usable TM's in the future.

ik we get bad points but it be great to trade pokemon in to get money or even gamecorner coins
