A minigame would be interesting, I agree!

Yeah I in fact envision something similar to a pokethlon personally, which would make sense as the HG/SS pokethlon stats correspond to the main stats (Red equals Attack/Srength, Yellow is HP/Stamina, ect) and the pokethlon events all ork on two different strength (The hurdle race woring off jump and speed) of a specific pokemon. Of course it wouldn't be exactly like that but the actual training I would expect to be similar to a pokethlon since real athletes train those same stats doing specific exercises obviously.

So I already wanted to play a Nuzlocke of this romhack which looks awesome, but I don't think that the Beta3 saves are compatible with the Beta2 saves. Is it going to take a really long time before Beta3 comes out? I don't want to start with it if it's soon due to release, because I prefer to play the latest beta out there ^^

is dual chop a dragon move? i guess not,,is this fixed on the next beta?
*to other players there, it will help if you found and report some bugs, especially critical bugs.

thanks for this game, can't wait for the next beta XD
Dual Chop is indeed Dragon-type. Thanks!

Megas! That's awesome, Sphice! Hope to see more! Good luck on Beta 3!
    Thank you!

As much as I'd love for this to be the case, I'm afraid this new update sort of means that Beta 2 saves won't be compatible with beta 3. I'm sorry this has to be the case, but I'd rather have a solid storyline and more content even if it does come at the expense an inconvenience.

The reason for this is that the story has been reworked a little to accomodate Mega Evolution; indeed, the third Gym Leader, Belle, is no longer a Gym Leader! Instead, she is a Successor, and reigns at the top of a tower on Sabulo Island. That's right, the inventively named Sabulo Tower! Climb to the top, and defeat Belle to win a Mega Ring!

With this, I also moved the events with the Mighty Mightyenas to Telmurk City, slightly later on, with their hideout being the Mightyena Casino! Screenshots of that later.

    Hi Spherical Ice,

I've followed all the instructions the README.txt provides me: I've applied the UPS patch file to the FireRed rom by using NUPS.exe. However, when I open the patched rom file from my desktop, visual boy advance displays a white screen. Do you know why this happens?

I'm really looking forward to play this hack. The screenshots I've seen look amazing!

  • I cannot even begin to describe how awesome this hack is. And the new visual assets? Stunning. Story looks compelling to boot. 11/10 would play until the end of time. ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN.

Hey there! This is a pretty great game so far. There's a lot of attention to detail, and I like how you made it worth our time to talk to everyone. There's a great assortment of Pokémon, too.

Things seem pretty stable, but I have run into one glitch in Frostbite Cavern, right after the cutscene plays when you get to the end of the first ice floor segment. If you take one step forward from where you end up, something invisible seems to spawn in where you were before. You can try to walk into it and collide with it just fine but if you try to examine it the controls seem to lock, forcing you to reset. I don't know if it's an issue with just my game or not.

At any rate, thanks for making. It's been fun so far and I look forward to seeing this completed.

    Pokémon Gaia Version

Not to mention that I have over 100 Moomoo Milks and Lava Cookies!
And the Valloon Gym is locked and I want to know if the leader is in the Nemesis Cave.

I have a bug to report.
When I Encountered Aipom, it had Totodile's Cry.

I'm very amused how you managed to get the Gen 4-6 cries on there.

I'm making a hack myself that's called Pokémon Urban Platinum. It has a few freezes and text changes and some encounter changes as well. It's from a Randomized Platinum ROM.

Anyways, I love your hack and keep it up!

That's a pretty neat Staravia you got there. Rare moves and everything!

You have access to Rock Smash after defeating the 2nd Gym. There's one in Windmist and another in Frozen Climb.

  • So, i beat all the 5 gym leaders, and i'm at telmurk and i'm apparently at the end of the game..
It's sad because i LOVED this hack, my favorite part is how you actually implemented the Pokemon as themselves! Not pokemon taken out for Gen 4/Gen 5/Gen 6 Pokemon!

What's also sad is that i never got infernape :(

But, this hack was amazing, also i would like it if you made a beta without mega evolution to make it compatible with beta 2 saves!

    thanks!

But this was a great hack, and i loved playing through it, as soon as my Kirlia evolved into Gllade and learned Psycho Cut, it just destroyed EVERY SINGLE POISON OR FIGHTING TYPE.

    Thanks! :D
