Crystal hack: Pokémon Gold and Silver 97: Reforged (COMPLETE!)

Almost a full year after the last update, we've released V3.SOUP. This update contains several bugfixes that were left out of the previous "final" release. Enjoy!

Almost a full day after the last update, we've released v3.SOUP.1. This update contains bugfixes to shiny palettes that were broken. Enjoy!

Liking this hack. Playing on my backlit GBC witb a EZFlash Jr. One quick question: Where can I find Farfetch'd? I'm playing this side by side with Super 97 and want the same teams. In Super 97 it can catch it on the first route.

Edit: Just found a bug. I can't view the first page of any Pokédex entries when viewing entries for caught Pokémon. Running latest version on real hardware with a EZFlash Jr running latest firmware.

Edit 2: Found a grammatical error when you speak to Oak's Aid in Birdon Town. When you talk to him when he gives you the Everstone and every time after, he says: "It's a handy stone when you don't a certain Pokémon to evolve." It should read: "It's a handy stone when you don't want a certain Pokémon to evolve."

I found a bug with the whitney's spin trainers, she can see trough walls.

Edit: some QoL ideas can be elixir, pp up, ether, gym tm and rare candy recycling or resets after e4

Love the game! I've and exeggcute on my team and wondering where I'd find a leaf stone? TIA!

Heading to league now. Great job on this! Im a completionist so I was wondering if there is a walkthrough/guide available anywhere? Thanks!

Last question... just want to evolve my seadra. any clue how? Last one to get for my team. Thanks..

Anyone knows where the Coin Case is?

The last two I found were in the Kanto Region where you find the leftovers and in Kume City in the large building.

The guy by the leftovers was the second one I found, can't imagine where I missed the actual #2 and I can't seem to find any posts about this sidequest elsewhere.

Edit: there are actually only 3 guys. The kume city one was the last person for the quest

A split-version hack that actually ALLOWS you to get all the Mons in each separately, no bullshit?

WHY IS THIS NOT A COMMON THING

This might a stupid question; i installed this on my nephews 3ds after converting it to a cia...is the screen supposed to be so small and not take up the entire 3ds top screen? Its more like a OG Gameboy screen size, which i assume "might" be normal, since its 97...

Any chance of getting any documentation released regarding things like learnsets? I have a Nidorina and im at a point where having Nidoqueen would be helpful but if theres some really good moves id miss out on id rather wait to evolve it.

Because there is no 'move guide' for '97 Reforged, SOME Pokémon evolutions have to be raised & tested carefully.

My first egg hatched as a Smoochum (likely related to my [FIRE] starter choice) and by Lv30 it knew only 'Sweet Kiss' [confusion] and hasn't even learned 'Lovely Kiss' [sleep / preferred], which you can obtain by capturing a wild Jynx in the Deepwater Passage caves (SURF needed to reach this section - needed to find PRYCE).

I'm currently pulling my hair out trying to configure my Poliwhirl to evolve so it MIGHT be able to learn Body Slam (33) and Belly Drum (?) to hopefully evolve at 40 in order to learn Submission (41) as Poliwrath.

Likely gonna play the Silver version after Gold attempt so I can start jotting some notes for specific Pokémon movesets.
