Hey, figured out the issue, turns out it was because of my locale settings. I usually have it set to Japanese (which really doesn't like accented E's for some reason) because I'm too lazy to use Locale Emulator for a few games I have on my system like Touhou Puppet Dance Performance that need a Japanese Locale to run or extract. Sorry for any unnecessary stress this may have caused.

All good, great to know everything's working as intended now! :D

Why is the opposite mascot Legendary not obtained? I mean why not Ho-Oh and Lugia? I always caught both of them in my game and in both so why not?

It's an optional capture in HGSS, and you'll get to obtain it later in this game anyway.
You could say the same for any other optional legendary, so I guess the answer to "why not" is because I didn't want the player to start the game with a load of legendaries.

Well, I understand Raikou and Entei and now it makes sense for the opposite mega but I don't think I can play the game because I did not do the Steven quest yet in my HeartGold and SoulSilver games but I always catch the opposite legendary thinking it's canon to the plot of the game because Bulbapedia said or maybe it did because I do not fully remember but I am going to check my games to see if I completed my Steven quest.

Thank you for the game. Love the story and the post game. The environment also look beautiful.
If there any downside maybe because we got offered pokémon in the beginning of the game there no really incentive to catch new Pokémon in the wild, my suggestion is maybe new game mode like ash who start new Pokémon in every region in the game where we start with new Pokémon in sevii island because it's new region in this game when we beat sevii island story there we got tp chose our pokémon

Custom, none. Only custom Pokémon are the 3 megas shown in the trailer.
Otherwise, the following regionals forms are available in Hoenn's Safari Zone:
Alolan Forms: Rattata, Raticate, Raichu, Sandshrew, Sandslash, Vulpix, Ninetales, Meowth, Persian, Geodude, Graveler, Golem, Grimer, Muk, Exeggutor, Marowak
Galarian Forms: Ponyta, Rapidash, Slowpoke, Slowbro, Slowking, Weezing, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres (these last 3 are not in the Safari Zone, but in special locations)
Hisuian Forms: Growlithe, Arcanine, Voltorb, Electrode, Typhlosion
Paldean Forms: Tauros Combat Breed, Tauros Blaze Breed, Tauros Aqua Breed
