    Five years after the events of RSE...
    Strange things are happening in Hoenn...
    Ghosts have invaded the Petalburg Woods and the Rusturf Tunnel...
    Sootopolis has erupted, burying the Cave of Origin but revealing a new, stranger cave...
    A great tsunami has washed away Pacifidilog and Slateport, leaving only a few caves jutting out of the sea where once stood Pacifidilog and Slateport has been rebuilt as the Water City, Alto Mare...
    Lilycove and Rustboro been flooded and both cities are now a series of islands...
    Rockfalls have buried some of Fallarbor, Verdanturf and Lavaridge...

    All these events have lead Team Magma to believe that the something has awakened deep beneath the Earth's crust.
    Something with the power to shift tectonic plates and split the ground in two.
    Heatran.

    Team Magma are back and up to no good. With the help of Archie and Team Aqua, you must prevent Team Magma from using Heatran's powers to melt the ice core of the Thermal Cave.
    If you fail, the world's climate will spin wildly out of control...

    New Features:
    Towns destroyed and rebuilt: Hoenn reborn.
    New starters: Shroomish, Staryu and Houndour.
    24 Sinnoh Pokémon.
    XD001 catchable after Elite Four.
    The secret of Prof. Birch's secret room of secrets...

    Actually, this plotline looks pretty solid. I really like it alot. Just make sure that Hoenn is moderately different, like you said it would be. We aren't expecting the same Hoenn, but we also aren't expecting a Hoenn so different and foreign to us that it seems like a whole new region. Just be careful and maintain that balance if this is to be set in Hoenn. Also, try not to reuse events that happened in Hoenn. For example, you could change the way the starters were obtained. Or change everything about NPC events. Like, where they are encountered, their Pokemon, how they behave towards you and other people, how and from what direction they walk up to you. We souldn't see the Rival riding his/her bike down to you on Route 110 again. Switch things up and and this'll be great! I'm rooting for you to give us a better Hoenn experience than Nintendo did, (of course, that won't be too hard in my opinion. I didn't like Hoenn at all.)
     
    wow, looks like you gave the story lots of thought.
    It sounds really interesting, I would play it.

    About the scripting thingy, have you tried to learn scripting yourself?
    I know it's hard, but don't expect to find someone to volunteer to do all that hard work for ya. Someone might come along and help you out, but he's not gonna be there all the time.
    I tried scripting myself and I sucked, but if you're serious about this, you should learn how to script.

    Anyway, best of luck.. :)
     
    I've actually just tried a bit of basic scripting, I changed what people in Lavaridge were talking about, now all they do is complain about the rockfalls ^-^

    The story is pretty good, heatran would make a good token pokemon too!

    nice story but i hope it won't look similar to nintendos Hoenn so change the palletes
     
    mm Fakemon? Well, if you look at the games with fakemon, most of them are poorly sprited and are bad copies of the originals..

    I would stay away from Fakemon if I were you...

    When you said that you changed what they said, did you mean you scripted the dialogs or did you use Advance Text? Cause there is a difference...
     
    I scripted the dialogues and now the ROM is fu...zzed up. I'm trying AdvanceText now but it says there's some file missing.

    As mentioned above, I'm inserting 24 Sinnoh Pokémon. I've decided on 12 and I'm going to hold a series of little...contests, if you will, to decide the other twelve. Whoever wins the contest first gets to pick one evolution chain. It cannot be a legendary.
    First Contest:
    Guess the logic behind my choice of starters.
    There is more to it than just the Grass-Water-Fire trio, there are two other reasons.
     
    There is already a hack called Pokemon Obsidian... and made by Kawa.
    So I guess you could look another name... or I just keep that one it's up to you.
    Just telling you because the name is used already xD
