The nerfs to some pokemon were really bold. Omastar lost a bit of power, toxapex is a bit useless now for monotype runs, gonna do more testing to check all the new changes and compare the new version with the old one. Still love the game it's so fun.

Posted a quickfix version 2.2a, the bug fixes:

- Fixed the prompt for randomizer ability/moves being reversed.
- Fixed Pickup not working.
- Fixed Pokemon that should have said item not having said item when caught.
- Fixed Wonder Eggs not being random.
- Fixed Roamer Legendaries not moving after battling them.
- Fixed Agatha not scaling on rematch.
- Fixed a minor tile error in Seafoam Islands.
- Fixed Centiskite, Alcremite not being sorted with Mega Stones
- Fixed Mom saying outdated text after becoming Champion

I think it would be nice to have one of those Egg traders in Viridian City so that folks could open up the possibility of more MonoType runs. I had wanted to do Steel or Fairy runs, but those generally require me to beat Brock first.

Which reminds me- Was the Burmy/Wormadam Cloak issue resolved? The one I recall hearing about where Burmy's cloak never changed.

You need to go to saffron and use a bottle cap to switch to a normal ability, then you can switch between normal abilities.

Can you please replace Moxie on Pyreroar with Beast boost so that the kills raise special attack instead of attack making female Pyreroar a viable special attacker?? I woulda posted this in discord but I can't because it requires phone verification and I live way out in the boonies lol

And pickup isn't working (still) I'm 90% sure. Although it is possible I was just unlucky I guess. But I've gotten no items when I would've gotten like 30 by now. I'm only a few hours into my newest save of 2.2a so I'll keep you updated.

Maybe something similar to Pokemon Unbound where you can choose the difficulty before starting? I feel like I have to completely change my team before every Gym Battle.

I can tell you that he's not going to add a difficulty modifier. The whole point of this hack was to be a challenge. I personally would like one too but this hack is unique in that fashion.

Personally, I've not had to switch teams the whole playthrough. I just finished the 6th gym and have only lost one battle (To Sabrina, Trick Room was a huge pain).

The beauty of this hack is that Pokemon that don't normally see competitive play can often make a decent use. My Butterfree is by far the biggest reason I've been able to win most battles. With its Compoundeyes, Sleep Powder now has 97.5% Acc and when they're asleep, using 2-3 Quiver Dances to set up a likely sweep with Air Slash and Bug Buzz really does the trick.

I've also done all this without Mega Evolving once.

How far are you in the hack?

Hey Soupercell, would you consider making Unown's base Sp. Atk much higher in the next update? Since it's limited to only one special move, it could become a somewhat decent Pokemon with the Choice items, especially against gym leaders.

Consumable held items are now always restored at the end of battles (including Wild Battles).

Can anyone confirm that berries are not regenerating after wild battles? I'm only at the second gym so can't confirm more items yet.

Yea, they don't twas a bug fix in 2.2 to 2.2a or something. Something involving Pickup. They still regenerate after Trainer Battles.

I have the 2.2a version that's why I thought it was weird that they still don't regenerate, Trainer Battles are what matters but I was just wondering if it was just happening to me.

Hey i'm up to victory road and i just realised i forgot to get strength. So i taught my charizard fly and then went to the pokemon menu hoping i would be able to fly to fuschia but it won't let me fly. Is there anything i'm doing wrong or is this just a bug? Please help me as i don't wanna walk all the way to fuschia city.

I've been laughing my backside off looking at the tier list. Marowak, in all the runs I've ever done, has been worthless. Max speed EVs/IVs, a Speed positive nature and a Choice Scarf, and the little reject still cant outspeed much of anything. So unless that buff included a hidden Speed boost, I dont see how Marowak could be viable.
