FireRed hack: Pokémon Radical Red (VERSION 4.1 RELEASED! Gen 9 DLC Pokemon, Character Customization now available!)

During my Hoenn Genlocke, i discovered that Hariyama can learn Brine at level 1 via the move relearner.
Is it normal or is it something that will be fixed on the next version?

OK, this is a bit of a reach, but I think I came up with an explanation. So we know Hariyama is based on a sumo wrestler, which is a kind of athlete. Athletes need to counter muscle cramps from time to time, and what's the one thing they're told to drink? Pickle Juice. And how do you make pickles? With a BRINE!

are raid battles fixed? i couldn't select members to participate previously. anything on that?

also, how in the helllllllll are y'all successfully nuzlocking this game? my team is getting absolutely slammed unless i have a legendary early game. please help.

Hi All - This is my first post. I am looking for a PC download for Radical Red. Can anyone supply a link please?

Just wanted to give my thoughts on the hack...
It's fantastic. I heard a lot of people crib about it on 4chan's pokemon board, so I gave it a go thinking it would be awful.... it was instead really, really good. The difficulty level is perfect - it's not hard to the point that pacing is affected, like in Emerald Kaizo, but it's not too easy either, like the mainline games. The freedom given to the player in teambuilding is great, so much so that it's now set the new standard for what I want in a hack. The story additions are pretty decent too; most of them would fit just fine in a pokemon game. Aside from a few minor spelling and grammar errors (Behemeth blade? lol) I have no real criticisms.
I'd love to hear what you have planned for future updates. I'll be sure to keep up!

I'd I evolve a Pokemon with a stone (Nidorino to Nidoking for example) will they no longer learn moves?

Eh, I think the game's gone to mainstream to the point where it's very liable to be hated on at this point. Though, some of their complaints are valid and I'm trying to address some of them in my next patch :) but I'm glad you still came into this game with an open mind and enjoyed it. I'll go ahead and fix the misspelling though that was a simple oversight on my part.

I guess the next update doesn't have new content per se but it will have additional customizable options for gameplay, some updated move animations, a couple of new moves from LGPE, and some more changes to Pokemon as usual. Here's just a snippet of some of the new move anims and one of the LGPE moves (which have already been posted in the Discord channel):

As unlikely as it would be, I'd love to see a Scientist on Cinnabar Island or in Cinnabar Mansion that can change a Pokemon's ability to anything you want for like double the price of the IV maxing.

You mean abilities that Pokemon don't normally receive, like a Shedinja with Sturdy? Or do you mean like legal abilities? Because that can already be done with Ability Pills and a man in Saffron City.

If the first option, I'd make the abilities cost different prices. So, Slow Start and Normalize could cost something minimal and Wonder Guard, No Guard (I don't think that exists in game) or something more interesting could cost much more.

Yeah, the first one. It was cause I realized that no Pokemon, as far as I'm aware, that has Skill Link can learn Pin Missile. Or anyone that has Comet Punch to get the ability. And No Guard is in the game. Stuff like Ariados, Swanna, one of the Lycanroc forms.

Looks great, can't wait!

Any plans to re-add the sevii isles quest in the future? It might be a nice place to hold some of the battles teased in game (... silver?)

After moving to 2.2b (from 2.1) I've noticed that many enemy trainers have become telepathic, magically knowing when I'm going to switch pokemon and using a move that wouldn't make any sense otherwise or switching on the same turn to counter. Additionally, RNG seems to be fuuuuuuuuucked to the player's detriment, I went 10 turns in a row confusing Bugsy's scyther and Ledian (He spammed u-turn and I spammed Confuse ray, mostly just to see what would happen). I went through ALL of my confuse ray PP and his pokemon didn't hit themselves in confusion even a single time (what are the odds of this with standard RNG? 10 turns of being confused without a single self-hit?). Likewise against Whitney, I happened to paralyze her miltank with spark, and it survived like 7-8 more turns using milk drink and crap to survive, it went down finally without being fully paralyzed a single time. In my first playthrough of 2.2b I switched out of icicle spear because it was only hitting 2 times more than 75% of the time when 3 times should be the most common and I not once ever saw it hit more than 3 times, I honestly thought it was bugged but now I'm wondering if all player-based RNG is just fucked as all hell. I *love* this romhack (it still is my absolute favorite that I've played), but since moving to 2.2b, it seems like it's intentionally throwing a wrench in my attempts to do anything that involves RNG at all and having to deal with psychic trainers
