"Pokémon Ranger and the Kidnapped Riolu"(Part 2 of 2) Episode Discussion

You know, this has become apparent to me:

Anytime Team Rocket shows up, Ash and them make such a big deal about it, giving them a hard time. But then when real villains(or remotely evil ones, due to the watered-down nature of the anime(bratty little kids.....)) show up, they whine about it, like it's impending doom. To put it shortly, they're emotional wrecks.

Oh, and Ash could always have a new pokemon get sent to Prof. Oak. His party may be full, but his PC is far from full.

Will it kill Ash to send the riolu after it hatched back to the professor back home in Pallet Town? Besides he did it to phanphy before...and aipom too...

When you say after it hatched, you imply he'll have seven pokémon with him.

The motto has annoyed me recently. WHY do they make it anyway? Can't they just SAY their names, like "I'm Jessie, and he's James, we're Team Rocket!" and that's done. Easy and clean, not to mention fast. Sheesh, is the motto even necessary?

About the emo wrecks part, I don't know. I've never even thought about it. Blah, I suck!

I really think that's what they were poking fun at by the way the episode ended. Their motto was so long that they blew up. :-)

I have to say, I love the character of Kellyn. His voice, his look, his personality, the whole aura around him. I hope he comes into the anime again, I loved watching him on the anime.

The best part of Solana is her Ringtown uniform showing her leggings. It's never explained why she was wearing an Almia region uniform and why Plusle wasn't with her. I'm also surprised that Solana doesn't have a "batonnage" styler. I also wonder if the events of Pokemon Ranger did occur in the anime universe.

I've noticed that the rangers in the anime are too serious and all-business while the games and manga showed that they have a sense of humor.

You have a point. Pokemon Rangers are too much like Konoha Shinobi, the Soul Society 13 squads, and the State Military of Ametris(FMA).

You're quite right. Pokemon Rangers were portrayed as serious and all-business, yet still have their cool side.

But: Why so serious? It's not like the end of the world, yet they're doing everything like if they don't succeed, lives are lost or something. Come on, where is the funny side of Pokemon? (I suddenly want TR so badly. They're the ones who could still keep the humour going in a bad situation. Look at the TG episodes.)
