Ruby hack: POKéMON Ruby Destiny - Rescue Rangers [Hack of the Month July 2008]

yippe the beta 4 is out :D i will start playing it now :D and did you have plan to add the new form of shaymin (the real one)? :D Gudluck :D looking forward of completion of this wonderful hack of yours :D
 
I played through the whole beta in less than 2 hours!! The most tricky part is the Mirrored Shadow Valley Part. It's easy to find the broken mirror, but it's difficult to find the exit... no glitches found in the game. Good luck on the next Beta!!
 
I found a quite deadly glitch...
If you enter a house in Veronica Town, this is what shows up and you're trapped in there.
You may talk to the NPCs, but there's no way out...

The rest of the game is fine, other than some typos in some places.
Will continue reporting bugs, if I find any. :)
 
One question: Why is there VERONICA TOWN from reign of legends in Rescue rangers?
I was looking for the maps in beta 3.2(yeah, I unlocked it) and then I found it. Why is it in the game???
BTW, great Game. Now playing Beta 4.

yes, your beta 3.2 saved file will be okay, as long as you save inside Gardevior's hut...
also, do NOT do double patching...

-Chikorita always seems to turn over whenever a battle with some other team/legendary pokemon is about to start...
-Idk if it's a glitch, but I found a Chikorita in Boquet Field. XD

yeah, no idea why, but it's not like it's a big glitch for me to worry about. :\
also, yeah, I put a wild Chikorita there. ain't a glitch.

Veronica Town is in Gento Region, specifically in Lorina Island, and west from it is where HEVAH is located. :3

well, as I said in my early post, you don't need to start a new game.
Just save your beta 3.2 game inside Gardevoir's hut and then you can proceed with beta 4.
but be sure to have a complete party first so you will have no trouble in the game.

Oke so i just played the game alil, i am wondering if i can ask other pokemon's help for in my team?
Is that possible, or can you only play with pika chico and torchic ?
 
Err, question...
I'm currently at Sparkle Path.
I've encountered a Cut-able tree. I cut it. THREE TIMES. (I don't think that's a glitch)
After procceeding, I see Team AquaFire and the Toda-Brothers.
Now here's my problem - I talk to them, and NOTHING happens. Not even a chat...
And there doesn't seem to be another way out. I've looked around...

Help please? :/
 
I saw the problem...
you talked to Baby Oddish, have you not..?
Baby Oddish used the same flag as it was used for that script there... :\

I put up a new patch...
sadly, you need to start all over if you saved it there...
but if you haven't then you are in luck... :\

Forgive me if I have caused you all some trouble...
but why not try the walk through walls code to escape them... :\
