SoulSilver hack: Pokémon SoothingSilver Version 1.3.0!

NOTE: In the intro for the current version, Professor Oak will say 'Welcome to SoothingSilver Version 1.2. He's a dirty little liar, you probably are playing 1.3 :D This is a minor glitch that will be fixed this week.

Introduction
Pokémon SoothingSilver is a QOL DS ROM hack of Pokémon SoulSilver. The main goal of the hack is to bring more variety, a bit more difficulty and lots of small new additions or QOL changes (such as custom shinies, regional forms and infinite TMS) which add on to the experience without ruining the feeling of the original SoulSilver. The game is complete but more updates are coming!

Current Features

Spoiler:

• 
  Some Pokémon are replaced by their Regional forms! These Pokémon include the following evolution lines: Electrode, Marowak, Exeggutor, Growlithe, Geodude and Sandshrew.
  
  Custom shinies! This hack contains 40 customised shiny forms and an increased shiny rate of 1/2048 so you can find them! See the Custom Shinies section to preview them!
  
  Lots of QOL changes such as reusable TMs, move reminders in every Pokémon Centre, early exp share, a grinding trainer in the old GTS and more!
  
  Gold/ Kris can be battled as a second rival!
  
  Increased difficulty. All boss trainers will have improved teams with better movesets, starting from the 4th gym all trainers/ most wild pokémon have increased levels including all trainers/ wild levels in Kanto to actually make it a challenge. The aim is to be slightly less difficult than StormSilver but more difficult than vanilla SoulSilver.
  
  All gen 1 & 2 Pokémon apart from legendaries are available before beating the league (regional forms are counted as gen 1 pokémon), all the other Pokémon up to gen 4 are available after the league.
  
  Variety. The game in general is a bit less repetitive than the base game. There are new encounters in almost every route, for example, Elekid will be an uncommon encounter right from the first route! Gym Leader Morty now has Misdreavus, Gengar, Mismagius and Alolan Marowak instead of just members of the Gastly line. Basically you should see less of the same Pokémon over and over and over. This applies to normal trainers as well as bosses.
  
  Enhanced viability! Some Pokémon have altered movesets, abilities, typings and more! E.g. Dragon-Bug Yanmega, Beedrill has slightly higher stats and learns Megahorn at later levels.
  
  Some moves have been edited to be more usable and some moves have been added! Notably HMs are now better in battle so they don't hinder your Pokémon as much. For example Flash is now an electric type special move with 20 power, 95% accuracy, a 100% chance lower accuracy and has priority.
  
  Easier Evolution. No more impossible evolutions!
  
  Type effectiveness has been edited to balance the game. Notably, Ice type is now immune to ice and resists water/ ground attacks.
  
  Find new events throughout the game including super bosses and legendary Pokémon!
  
  Plus more!

Future Updates

In the future a final 1.4 is planned as well as a hard mode!

The beta will release on the 9th for discord members it will contain many but not all of the features included in the features section! All trainers will be edited until the 9th gym and all wild encounters will be ready! Version 1 will still come out by the end of September and will be more polished and contain even more features!

Planned features

• After I release the first version I intend to act upon any feedback, and I especially intend to readjust difficulty.
  
• Cynthia and Steven may or may not battle you, but I won't spoil any further details :)
  
• I would like to add a couple of new areas for multiple reasons, but we'll see how that goes
  
• Scripted encounters with hopefully every legendary, but to be honest this may not be possible for every legendary.
  
• If people really want it, I can try to add fairy types :D

Oh yeah he did send the script I prepared this announcement a while back woops. Also I might add fairy typing but it would probably be a version 2 change tbh. Also I don't really want to replace any pokemon aside from the ones I replaced with their alolan forms, I feel like that would be unfair for the people who like the pokémon that I would've replaced

There seems to be a bug where I can't get the Legendary Beasts to flee the Burnt Tower. I just keep triggering a Suicune battle. Also going to Kris near Mt. Mortar kept freezing the game.
