From my searching the game's discord server, it seems that Rocket Stones officially cannot be obtained as of this point of the current English translation.Where can I get a rocket stone?
According to a small announcement on their Discord the other day, they're about 60% finished with the translation work they're doing. That's up from the 50% announced on Sunday the 28th of July.Couldn't stop playing this. Absolutely the best plot and with an intriguing storyline and incredible features. Wonder when the Johto DLC be translated to English. Please continue to make roms like this.
Hi. I got a question about the Zapdos and Surge fight, more precisely is about the levels I need to fight them. I don't have any poké and there are not trainers that give me enough money to buy vitamins, so to the point I wanted to ask. . . There is no GameShark or game breaker cheat to level up quick and fight them? I have been trying to fight them for almost two weeks.Referering to a Female Grunt character, for both history (Andra has a very clear role and many mentions) and massive work (should do grunt, high grunt, executive, admin and boss admin running, back, front, surfing, biking and flying.) Maybe one day, but for the moment, the priority is other.
Zapdos and Surge battle has been polemic since I released the game in Spanish, arguably the most difficult one in Kanto season. But... I want to keep like this because I precisely think isn't artificial, just the history push this situation, and the first legendary contact must force you to raise the level.
Of course, this is arguable, some people loves this fight, some hates this fight, some others even say me it should be even hardest... the point is that... is impossible to please everyone.
Either way, there are many thinks you can do to improve your team and options easily:
- You can give vitamins (3,000 POKÉ) up to 250 evs directly, since you are in deep base.
- Focus sash is in deep base as well, it's a great item for these 1vs6 battles with an overpowered pokémon.
- Some pokémon for articuno: Houndoom or Ninetales with flamethrower, Focus Sash Rhydon or Golem it's 1KO with rock slide or rock blast. Starmie with Thunderbolt.
- Some pokémon for Zapdos: Same Focus Sash Rhydon or Golem, Alakazam (Lv.45 evolve) should be faster than Lv.50 Zapdos, and could 2KO with Psychic, so with focus sash . Gyarados (Water/Dragon here) it's a great pokémon to beat Surge. Starmie at lv.45 should outspeed Zapdos and make good damage with Ice beam (Deep base for 65,000 POKÉ).
- Another thing you can do quickly its to pick up all the rare candies available in fire red (very useful if you have a kadabra or graveler close to level 45, for example):
Hey.Hi everyone, I just defeated Oak so the credits will role for the second time, and Giovani says that that's it for now, I can travel to Johto due to translating issues, do you know an estimate date for when it will be ready? And, if I patch/update the game when translation is ready, will I lose my progress? Thanks!!! Loved the game!
It was changed to Level-up. Once Golbat reaches Level 47+, it'll evolve into Crobat. Is there a trick to evolving Golbat in this version? If it's just a normal friendship evolution he should have evolved by now.
Do I need a National Dex? Because I don't really have a Pokedex at all I can actually check, but when my Johtonian egg hatched a Houndour its Pokedex entry appeared on screen just like every catch, so maybe I already have that?
most recent update was 75-80%, as of 8/11Hey.
Not part of dev or translation for this game. Just wanted to share what I've gathered, mostly from their Discord server, at least until someone from the actual team shows up.
From what I've gleamed, there's no set date for when the translation's getting finished. I did read something about it being in the fall of this year, but I'm not sure if whoever said that was being serious or even if they had any real say-so of knowledge. Now then, there was a server announcement this past Monday that said they were now 60% done with translations for Johto. Plus, a previous announcement on the 28th of July said they were at 50%. That's a 10% completion increase within the span of about a week. Feel free to extrapolate as little or as much from that as you'd like.
As far as whether or not old saves will work once the updated translation releases, I think they mentioned in their FAQs or somewhere like that that they should be compatible. So you're current save should be fine.
Yep. Though someone else mentioned a day or so ago that the bulk of the translators are taking a bit of a break, due to how hard they'd been working on it to this point.most recent update was 75-80%, as of 8/11
fair enough, translating is a tough job and they've made ~40% in like 2 weeks (10% one week to 50, then ~30% to 80 the next)Yep. Though someone else mentioned a day or so ago that the bulk of the translators are taking a bit of a break, due to how hard they'd been working on it to this point.
It's there. Defeat Sevii Gym Leader Morpheus on Three Island to get it.Does anyone know if trick room is available in this gme? Almost all moves have the same hex values as in Radical Red RomHack, but trick room's value is not.
