Emerald hack: Pokémon Team Rocket Edition: Dragonsden Version - Kanto/Sevii/Johto | Next release: DLC (season 4)

Does Dragon Rage do something different in this game or is it glitched because it defintely doesn't only do 40 damage. It says it does 70 base attack so is that actually just a 70 base physical move or is it 70 HP?

Thank you for your help. Now it's working properly. QWQ

I just remembered the Johto update and can't wait to dig into it!
I chose my original six team in Ephemeral Johto, and greatly appreciate that majority of the tools to retrain them back to Sevii endgame status are provided.
A quick question- is there a Move Relearner at the start of Ephemeral Johto?

Iirc, it's somewhere in the Celadon Rocket Base

There is a private lounge for executives ,you can find a move relearner in that place it's in the deep base

It's not a move tutor, it's the egg move tutor.

There's one in SEVII, in Two Island. The other one is on Johto in the same city as Kurt (the bug-type leader). But the more accessible is the one in SEVII.

Thanks for the answer, y'all! The TinyMushroom salesman at the start of Johto was a great lifesaver in helping me reclaim my Sevii team.
I just stepped foot in Johto's HQ - will I be able to change my appearance at this point, or will it come further on?

It's possible; I don't remember when exactly this happens, but when you get your own office, there'll be a wardrobe or something similar in your office.

If I recall correctly, you get your office after the Johto arc, somebody correct if I'm wrong.

And yeah, the tiny mushroom vendor is really great!

This is one of the best romhacks I've ever played, maybe even THE best! I'm so excited for English DLC and Hoenn expansions :)

@-Dragonsden- do you have a Patreon or something?

Hello! What generation is the game based on? Is it Gen 6? Gen 7? I need to know so I can check which moves my Pokémon can learn—whether by level-up, TM, or by the egg move tutor—to build up teams. Also, I want to check if Hidden Power is treated like in Gen 3, where it could be either Special or Physical.

  • Physical/Special split system from 4th gen.
  • Replaceable HMs and unlimited TMs.
  • Pokémon, moves, and items up to 8th gen (some from 9th).

Hello guys,
So i've just finished the whole adventure (so far) of Kanto, Sevii and Johto and first I wanted to thank you Dragonsden for this amazing romhack.
I tend to like the story's focused romhack and I've really enjoyed this one !
In the past i've played the ColonelSalt's version and even if some ideas where used again (like the whole "team rocket is actually helping the region in the shadows" plot) , this concept was nicelly pushed far enough to give more substance to the whole pokemon and making a true story.
As a personal note, I did prefer the Kanto arc, but by only a tiny margin as the Johto arc was using some fresh ideas like the concept of deep bond pokemon.
I think it's also a great idea to use the early version of pokemon who didn't make the finish line in the official game.
On the other side, i'm quite concerned about the power creep with the introduction of always more powerful pokemon, we'll see what's coming in the next arc..

About my gameplay, here's which pokemon I choose and when I choose them.
Generally speaking I tend to choose my pokemon by asking the question " if I really was in this world, which pokemon would I like to have ? ", so I mostly choose pokemon based on the looks, general style and utility they have in the team.
I tend to prefer to level one pokemon at a time. The downside is that they're generally overleveled, but as I tend to focused on the story and not on the battle, it's okay to me.
Some people might want to keep the surprise, so i'm using the spoiler tag :
Spoiler: the team

So here's my 2 cents, thanks again for this great adventure, I was enjoying it in the past 3 months, and now i'm waiting for the next steps of the story !

Eevee apprears in the wild at Bill's Garden. If you can no longer go there, there's a Scientist at Cinnabar Lab that will ask you to retrieve some stolen Eevees. He's the guy right across the entrance. After talking to him, go to the Underground Path that connects Cerulean with Vermillion. There's a guy selling the stolen Eevees there. After defeating him, go back to the Lab and talk to the Scientist again; he will reward you with 5 Eevees.
Is there seriously no other way to get Eevee? I long ago got past Bill's Garden, and didn't see a single Eevee while there. There are more evolutions for Eevee than five, and the stupid rule about not being able to breed our own pokemon means we can't get more? This is crap... Team Rocket owns the fucking pokemon breeding zone but members can't use it? It's backwards as hell. Members should get benefits not punishments. At least from Team Rocket! We're already punished enough by the local government! So what, the only way is to restart the whole damn game? That's just shit!

Not your fault obviously, I'm just venting frustration, but this is just... fucking hell, talk about idiotic.

In hopes of saving other people from this problem, here's a list of every Pokemon I've found in Bill's Garden - adding Eevee to that list:

Smoochum
Mareep
Magby
Elekid
Tyrogue
Togepi
Teddiursa
Eevee
Larvitar
Horsea
Omanyte
Kabuto
Nidoran (Male)

Edit: I found a way back in!

If you hit R+Start you can open an in-game cheat menu!

You go under "Flags" then to Collision, and press a, then back out. Collision will be turned off. If you go back to Bill's house, you still can't enter... from the front! The front and ONLY the front, causes the message to appear. Walk through the walls and approach the door from the SIDE and you can go in! Then turn collision back on, and bam, you can go catch to your heart's delight!
