The premise for this potential RP is you are someone in the world of Pokémon, someone wronged by a criminal/terrorist/villainous organization known as Team Rocket. You encounter a strange teleporting figure who gives you coordinates that lead to a secret location. Here you find out that, because of your past experiences with Team Rocket, alongside strong potential with The Aura. you were recruited to form an elite force known as The Retaliators. You will each need to come up with a new identity to fight your common nemeses, like a comic book superhero.
Team Rocket has monopolized the art of crime in not only Kanto, the Sevii Islands, and Johto, but have taken control of power vacuums in Hoenn, Sinnoh, and parts of Kalos. Orre is protected by Team Snagem, the Unova Region is under the watchful eye of Team Plasma, specifically those loyal to their King N. Alola has the former hoodlums of Team Skull working with the Aether Foundation to keep the islands safe. Fiore, Almia, and Oblivia are all heavily guarded by the Pokémon Rangers there. Galar's Gym Trainers are working double duty to protect all corners of their region. And meanwhile in the Paldea region, the Manzana Academy has recruited the former members of Team Star as a mighty security force.
The de facto Headquarters of the Retaliators is currently in Lumiose City, one of a handful of safe zones in the Kalos Region, in the regional headquarters of the Unova-based Damon Corporation, whose future CEO is my character in this story, Frederick "Eric" Damon III, will be the leader of the Retaliators, and has teamed up with this mysterious teleporting individual shortly after bonding over their extreme hatred of Team Rocket. The wealthy Unovan philanthropist lost someone he truly cared about thanks to Team Rocket, and has made it his life's work to purge the world of Pokémon of Team Rocket, so future generations won't have to go through what he went through.
The Retaliators may recruit Trainers as young as 18, and as old as 49, and with varied experience with Pokémon, as long as they have strong aura, and a great sense of justice. Missions will be assigned periodically and recruits will be sent to the location of the mission they choose to fight Team Rocket.
Does this sound intriguing to anyone?
