Pokémon to drop the accented e from name - PokéCommunity Daily

The Pokémon franchise will from now on be known as Pokemon in most of the world. God bless the accented é, you served us well.
I knew it was a joke because I saw a link to "april fools pranks" in the article itself I just decided to be more subtle in the way I called it out as a joke.
I guessed it was a prank as soon as I saw the day it was posted! ^^

In the event these were at me, I was mainly asking B&B. I posted something relating to 'not getting me' only like an hour after the article came out, off the forums lol. I was just curious if I was 'technically' the first to mention it.

Edit: Thanks for the answer boss!

Sorry to those who fell for it, haha, but I'm glad it worked on some at least. =p

Hints towards it being false include the url in the opening paragraph (follow the sources in articles!), the line about TCG customers enjoying new reprints (no they won't when it means scalping will increase on previous ones), the line about different e accents in Europe used instead, and also the article tags includes April Fools. ;)

Here's a list of all the previous AF articles we've done! https://daily.pokecommunity.com/tag/april-fools/

I've gotta at least ask, even if I don't expect an answer. Was I the first person to call it out as a joke? Cause I know I didn't see any posts about it here when I mentioned that elsewhere lol. :p
The answer... is no! @Palamon had responded to the PC Tweet of the article about it saying nice try pc (10:46 PM my timezone), while your message elsewhere was after 11 PM.

Specifically on April 1st, I see all news as FAKE news. 🤣
