I know exactly what I'm gonna do for spooky pokemon. xD
 
Y'know what I'm just gonna do my own thing and go for Tommy Boy for Halloween.

You guys have fun with the collab. :P

Like Windy, it will come down to poll results before I consider joining or not. Granted, I did join every previous collab but if it's a theme that doesn't bode with me, this could be the first one I may not join.
 
I'm up for spooky pokemon!

Hopefully I can find a creepypasya Pikachu to feature, or a cosplaying one at least ^^
 
While I love the idea of dark and ghost type Pokémon for Halloween, I voted for Castlevania enemies. I'm using Houndoom as theme for a while now and I'm in for a change.

I think we'll leave Team Fail (the one who made the thread) up to that to see if he views them as "spooky". But speaking of Inkay, you have to admit its evo is pretty creepy.
 
Perhaps we should abandon the spooky idea now since halloween will be over soon?


I actually want to suggest a basic crystal sprite collab instead. These pop up every once in a while and are most often pretty simplistic, but crystal sprites are popular for a reason haha. Who doesn't love dem pixels? We could do advanced signatures with large banners for our chosen pokémon, to make the collab less simplistic!

Is anybody remotely okay with this idea or should we still push for something else? Perhaps we at least need a new thread with fresh energy and a new poll?

Rika's suggestion might be interesting, but we already did something similar with the GSC Pokemon collab to launch the new supporter system. But since Halloween is not going to last, we might just have to abandon this collab due to a lack of interest and I don't like the other options on the poll above.

Said lack of interest was likely to blame for the fact this time of year is when a lot of members are doing end-of-year studies and those often need full attention so all the focus got poured into that and that meant those members didn't have much time to check here.
 
New Supporter system? Are you referring to when we switched from tiers to metal colors? Because that was ages ago and we could easily repeat it now. Like I said, they pop up once in a while, in staff collabs too.

My most fav collab ever was the one where we made GSC style battlescreens for signatures and had GSC backsprites c: very simplistic yet super elegant. But not sure we could steal that haha. Although, I was the one who designed the signature. But it's boring to do the EXACT same thing.

Isn't it 20 years since pokémon first came out though? We could to a GREEN sprite collab hahaha, to commemorate the first iteration of games. Those are terrible but very funny.

I think it may be good, but I think newer Pokémon might be left out because they're not available in Gen I games, which may be quite disappointing for some. However... if possible, how about having them being represented as well, even though in Gen I style? That might give us more choice of picking the Pokémon that we like :)
 
Oooh there was a set of devamped 5th gen sprites in green style actually! Let's use them?
 
As cool as an old-school style sprite theme collab would be, I feel like it'd be almost too similar to the staff collab they did of that a while ago and I don't like "stealing" ideas.
