  • Pillava
    Clasification: Noiseless Pokemon

Pillava has a timid disposition and will prefer to avoid any contact with people or Pokemon. If it realizes it's been spotted it will raise the spiky point on it's rear to try and defend itself. It is however incredibly weak, so most Pokemon or people won't even notice the sting at all.
They are easily frightened by loud noises and therefore prefer to live in forests far away from civilization. It only likes trainers who are calm and don't talk loud. Pillava itself doesn't seem to produce any noises at all. This absence of noise is most likely a defense mechanism.

    Pillpu
    Classification: Camouflage Pokemon

It uses it's earthy tones to camouflage with the dirt and mud. This Pokemon tries to avoid conflict by burrowing into the ground if it's under attack.
It's not particularly bright though, and might not even notice that it's not currently on the right type of terrain. There have been many reports of these Pokemon trying to dig into pavement or bricks on the outskirts of towns. People are requested to pick it up and put it down in the nearest shrubbery if they see this happen.
A faint rhythmic humming can be heard from within when it's close to evolving.

    Hummoth:
    Classification: Humming Pokemon

These Pokemon produce a pleasant humming sound as they flap their wings. Depending on how fast they flap their wings, their rhythm and sound changes: the faster they flap their wings, the higher the tone and rhythm of their humming. The sound these Pokemon make is therapeutic and is used for a variety of things: though predominantly it's used to calm rampaging Pokemon such as Gyarados/Tauros/Insert-Other-Pokemon-That-Exists-In-Your-Dex-That-Rampages-Alot-Here.
These Pokemon are popular with people who have Children as they have a positive influence on them. In the wild these Pokemon are abundant in swamps with lots of trees.

    Egrlitt:
    Classification: Immobile Pokemon

Inept at both flying and running, they stand still as much as possible, usually near the water's edge. They wait for their Fish Pokemon prey to come near and then pounce on them fast. This is usually enough to tire them out, so they will remain still while digesting their prey to recover their stamina.
They become more active as they draw closer to evolving. When they actively walk or run around, evolution is imminent.
These Pokemon are often protected by their parent Ronegre as they are incapable of defending themselves properly until they are close to evolving.

    Ronegre:
    Classification: Protective Pokemon

Ronegre live in pairs. If an Egrlitt has just evolved into one, the first thing it will do is search for it's companion. They prioritize family over anything else and will go through great lengths to defend theirs. If they have just hatched chicks, they are extremely protective of them and will attack anyone who comes too close. One of the pair will always be with their young at all times and will call for it's companion if it thinks it can't handle a potential threat alone.
These Pokemon attack by either covering their wings in water and launching razor-sharp water-covered feathers at their opponent, or just charging in and hitting them with their wings directly.

  • Verick
    Classification: Hatchling Pokemon

Frail and weak, but quite fast; this Pokemon simply outruns most of it's predators. Curiously, when there are multiple in the same nest, they seem to move in unison when under attack. If one goes left, all go left. If one starts running, they all run in the same direction. Although there are usually multiple in the same nest, it is not always the case.
This Pokemon seems to have no interest in flying and spends most of it's time running. They will race against others of their kind to see who's the fastest. Whichever Verick is the fastest gets to boss around the others in it's nest.

You could possibly make the first stage pure Normal type if you want it to reflect not actually flying yet.

    Plojuve
    Classification: Fledgling Pokemon

These Pokemon have taken an interest in being able to fly and practice non-stop. They will run up hills and jump off and try to glide as long as possible in order to strengthen their wings.
Plojuve seems to be able to distinguish between good and bad people, and when there are no hills it can jump off, will instead run up to humans and try to get themselves lifted up to a tree branch. Plojuve that are actually helped by a human this way can be quite needy as they will want to be lifted up frequently. If you want a friendly and loyal Pokemon though, it is well worth the effort.

    Adulcon
    Classification: Nest Chief Pokemon

There are two types of Adulcon. There are those who nest deep into the forest, if they've had no contact with humans. And there are those Adulcon who like to nest near human towns, if they were helped by a human when they were still a Plojuve. The latter will actively bring its chicks to the human who helped it, both to introduce and familiarize them with the human, as well as to show them off. Once their chicks evolve into Poluve they will then seek that human's help on their own.
The Adulcon that nest deep in the forest are more aggressive and will often not trust humans, though you can still make friends with them if you're patient.

    Dentock
    Classification: Curious Pokemon

These Pokemon are highly inquisitive and not shy at all. They will inspect anything they come across, including humans and any potential predators. They have very quick reflexes that allow them to escape any potentially dangerous situations.
They are found mostly around towns in the mountains, where they live in harmony with the townsfolk. Due to their keen nose, they are often used to find missing belongings.
Although they live on their own in the wild and are pretty weak by their lonesome, the ones that live in towns will call their brethren for aid with a high pitched squeal if there's any danger to anyone living there, People and Pokemon alike.

    Flerave
    Classification: Collector Pokemon

These Pokemon learn to fly as fast as possible; they like taking things from humans and need to be able to escape fast. These Pokemon are often considered a pest as a result.
An easy way to get them under control is to just leave a couple shiny coins or bottle-caps lying around to distract them. They love anything shiny and will take it back with them instead.
They keep their distance from humans, assuming they've come to take it's spoils back from them. Flerave are solitary Pokemon, but they will defend their treasure hoard fiercely, and their beak is quite sharp.

    Ultraven
    Classification: Bully Pokemon

Ultraven is often called 'the Bully of the Sky'. They will attack any flying Pokemon on sight until it can no longer fight. They often fight amongst each other as well.
Although normally a solitary Pokemon, it has been known to form packs. In those cases, the pack leader has beaten the other Ultraven in it's pack into submission, and they live as one collective as long as the leader stays undefeated. If the leader is defeated even once, the entire pack will turn on it in revenge, often with lethal results.
Ultraven packs are rare, but very dangerous. Gym leaders and Elite Four members are called in to deal with them if there are any reports of one.

  • Iufora
    Classification: Gnawing Pokemon

A very friendly Pokemon, but it's habit of constantly gnawing on wood has made it unwanted in most places. They will gnaw on anything wooden, including furniture and wooden support beams for houses. If you have one of these Pokemon, most towns will force you to keep it inside it's ball at all times, to avoid it damaging any property.
They are very popular amongst wood sculptors though, as Iufora will gladly gnaw and eat any waste wood. Lumber mills in Xesse usually use these Pokemon instead of heavy machinery to process their lumber.

    xesseian Oddish
    Classification: Nutrient Pokemon

During the daytime, Oddish buries itself in soil to absorb nutrients from the ground using its entire body. The more fertile the soil, the glossier its flowers become. The Oddish in Xesse are inactive at night, unlike their relatives from other regions. The more intense the sun, the faster they grow.
If it has not yet found a place to settle down yet, it will start moving at dawn and walk until the sun has reached it's highest point. They seek nutrient rich soil to settle down in. Florists who take proper care of their soil are often visited by these Pokemon and they welcome them with open arms.

    xesseian Gloom
    Classification: Fragrant Pokemon

Their flowers are in full bloom, but the Pokemon is not strong enough yet to keep the flowers upright, giving it a rather saddened appearance. Unlike the Gloom from other regions it is not poisonous and gives off a very pleasant smell. The smell varies depending on the area they settled down in as an Oddish. The Gloom from southern Xesse in particular have a very pleasant smell, adored by many. There is an annual Flower Pokemon contest in Xesse, where the Pokemon get judged on their smell. Gloom from southern Xesse always win this contest.
It's pollen are very attractive to Bug Pokemon, so if you keep one you'll need to keep it protected from Bug Pokemon at all times.

    xesseian Bellossom
    Classification: Dancing Pokemon

Xesseian Bellossom's flowers are more beautiful if it evolves from a fragrant Gloom - the more fragrant, the deeper their flowers' colors become. It's flower petals deepen in color further through exposure to sunlight. At night, this Pokémon closes its petals and goes to sleep.
When cloudy weather persists, it does a dance that is thought to be a ritual for summoning the sun. All Bellossom in the area will gather in 1 spot and start dancing. When it dances, its petals rub together and make a pleasant ringing sound.

    xesseian Diglett
    Classification: Mole Pokémon

It prefers dark places. It spends most of its time underground, though it may pop up above ground in the shade of trees. If it is exposed to light for too long, its blood heats up, causing it to become slow and gradually grow weaker. Xesseian Diglett are covered in a coat of fur, unlike the Diglet from other regions.
Diglett are raised in most farms, simply because they are good at keeping critters away from the crops. Farmers plant Diglett's favorite trees around the edges of their fields, so that Diglett will make the fields easier to plow for them.

  • xesseian Combee
    Classification: Bee Pokémon

Unlike Combee of other regions, the Combee in Xesse are singular creatures. They do always form teams of three when leaving the hive, but they are not stuck together. They only leave the hive to gather honey for their queen. The hives they make are quite big and look like giant honey covered boulders. They will normally leave humans and other Pokemon alone, but approach their hive carelessly, and they will swarm out and attack. There are thousands of Combee in a single hive.
They will only allow someone to come close if they regularly leave offerings of honey nearby over an extended period of time.

    xesseian Bidoof
    Classification: Beaver Pokemon

The Bidoof of Xesse have smaller front teeth than Bidoof elsewhere, that also grow slower. They don't gnaw on logs and rocks nearly as much as a result. They live in groups by the water. They chew up boulders and trees around its nest, so that they can have a clear line of sight on any potential threats.
They have nerves of steel, nothing can perturb it. They often cause problems as a result on busy pathways. If a pack of Bidoof has decided to laze about on the road, they will move for nobody.
It is more agile and active than it appears. If attacked they quickly rally each other and work as a team to take down their opponent.

  • Kitarte
    Classification: Easygoing Pokemon

Kitarte has a calm and easygoing nature. They are usually the starter of choice for trainers who are insecure about themselves. They love attention, but won't ask for it.
Although normally calm, seeing someone it cares about get hurt can make it go into a frenzy. They form deep bonds with their trainers and can't stand being apart from them for too long.
The deeper their bond with their trainer, the healthier it looks. Kitarte showered with affection have fur that almost looks like it's glowing.

    Tenimbe
    Classification: Protective Pokemon

Tenimbe are fiercely protective of their trainers. It's instinct allows it to detect bad intentions in a Pokemon or human, and it will not hesitate to strike first if it feels these intentions directed at it's trainer. Inexperienced trainers often scold it for it, not knowing it has protected them from harm.
They love chasing after bird and fish Pokemon, but actually seems to prefer eating berries most of the time. It might still occasionally try to catch and eat a bird or fish Pokemon if it's starved enough, though.
Tenimbe who work out alongside their trainers are stronger than other Tenimbe.

    Guarten
    Classification: Partner Pokemon

Guarten are quite clever and resourceful. They can figure out puzzles in a fraction of the time it would take the average human adult.
Guarten can find it's way through forests and caves flawlessly with it's finely honed senses. It can track down it's trainer even if they are far apart. There have been incidents where trainers got kidnapped and their Guarten tracked them down, with the police or a Pokemon Ranger in tow.
It is said the bond between a Guarten and it's trainer is so deep, both will know if the other passes on, even if they are halfway across the world from each other.

    Sonbott
    Classification: Ancient Bottle Pokemon

Created in a time long forgotten, there are none alive who remember how this Pokemon came to be. Sonbott is very rare; it is estimated there are only a couple of them across all of Xesse.
These Pokemon were first discovered in modern times in an archeological dig-site in West Xesse, 87 years ago. One of the many flasks found there suddenly started floating and drifted away on the wind. The dig-site was shut down and Pokemon rangers further explored it and came across one more Sonbott, which was too weak to move. They confirmed that it was an undiscovered Pokemon and took it to a Pokemon Center to be treated, before setting it free again.
These Pokemon defend themselves by leaking a mysterious fluid out of their bottle and covering themselves with it.

    Witterlask
    Classification: Mysterious Pokemon

This Pokemon is so elusive that it has only recently been confirmed to even exist at all. It would seem that if Sonbott is fully filled with a particular fluid, and taken to one of several special locations around Xesse, it will evolve into Witterlask. This theory is not fully proven yet, but it seems to be the most likely one based on deductions by the Pokemon Rangers and Professors.
This Pokemon has only been seen by humans once. This was when Maidrea came ashore and went on a rampage after humans disturbed her slumber. Reports indicate it attacked by creating some sort of mist around Maidrea that was harmful enough to cause it to retreat almost immediately and seek out a new place to slumber.
Based on reports of this incident, this Pokemon is thought to have interfered with other rampaging Pokemon on humans' behalf as well. It's motives are unknown, but it is believed it's trying to repay the favor the Pokemon Rangers once paid to a weakened Sonbott.

    Maidrea
    Classification: Broker Pokemon

There are multiple tales of Maidrea clashing with humans. This Pokemon comes ashore every once in a while in search of new souls to claim. It does not do this directly, however. It offers people things in exchange for their soul. Many humans have succumbed to greed and given in. Once the deal is struck, it will return 5 years later to collect. Despite undoubtedly having to keep track of many deals at the same time, it will never forget a deal once made. Many have tried to defend themselves against it, but once it comes for your soul, it is already too late.
There was an incident involving Maidrea 43 years ago. Some divers accidentally disturbed it's slumber, and it went on a rampage, blindly taking the souls of any it came across. Had a previously unknown Pokemon not interfered, the coastal city of <insert name here> would have been completely wiped out.

Well those mythical and legendary dex entries became pretty dang lengthy lol.....

The dig-site was shut down and Pokemon rangers further explored it and came across one more Sonbott, which was too weak to move. They confirmed that it was an undiscovered Pokemon and took it to a Pokemon Center to be treated, before setting it free again.
These Pokemon defend themselves by leaking a mysterious fluid out of their bottle and covering themselves with it.''

    ''Witterlask

It's motives are unknown, but it is believed it's trying to repay the favor the Pokemon Rangers once paid to a weakened Sonbott.''

    ''Maidrea

    ooh, i like those :> thanks :3

looking forward to the others on the list :>

for the ''coastal city of <insert name here>'' part, i choose southend on sea - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southend-on-Sea, aka, in pokemon terms, seaon city

Well those mythical and legendary dex entries became pretty dang lengthy lol.....

    ^^'

    that's ok...

maybe we can try the others with the regular amount :> ; ''Pokédex entries typically describe a Pokémon in only two or three sentences.'' that's just what it says on bulbapedia - https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pokédex

it's fine if not, though :>

  • Ulpcub
    Classification: Fox Cub Pokemon

Although very playful and easily distracted, it is a trustworthy partner who would never betray it's trainer. If you want to raise one, you need to always keep it in your sights, or it might run off chasing something. These Pokemon can't control their weak flames yet and often mess up while trying to attack with them. It's important to encourage it to keep trying, rather than scolding it.
Ulpcub mainly preys on Bug Pokemon such as Pillava, though it has a tendency to play with them, more than actually eating them.

    Pesesce
    Classification: Fox Pokemon

Pesesce can perfectly control their flames and prefer to attack from a distance with them. Their attacks are not that strong yet, but they will never miss their target. It likes chasing after Hummoth, but it always falls asleep while doing so due to Hummoth's rhythmic flapping of it's wings.
They are quite friendly towards their trainers, but will be skittish around other humans.
These Pokemon are often kept to protect a home or a field of crops against Bug Pokemon.

    Ferulpe
    Classification: Pink Fox Pokemon

It's fur has become pink. The more it feels wanted by it's trainer, the deeper the color. Ferulpe can make it's fur stand up and glow brightly. It usually does this when it's about to attack, to blind it's opponent with the bright glow. These Pokemon will not give up in a fight until it's opponent has been beaten.
Ferulpe are very active and like to run around a lot. It also loves to help it's trainer, and will feel unwanted if you don't let it help out every now and then.

    Tralound
    Classification: Soul Guide Pokemon

Tralound are often seen as a bad omen, as they only seem to appear when someone has passed on or is about to. They are often attacked as a result. This Pokemon does not take lives, however. It just senses when one is about to end and shows up to guide the soul to the afterlife. It is said that if a soul has been tainted by evil too much, it will devour it instead.
It moves very fast and can run through solid objects, abilities it needs in order to be able to guide as many souls as it possibly can. Tralound will avoid conflict as much as it can, but if it sees no way around it, it will not shun a fight. It is fast and strong and will leave it's opponents unconscious after beating them, indifferent to whatever may happen to them.

  • xesseian Bounsweet
    Classification: Peach Pokemon

Its body gives off a sweet, fruity scent that is extremely appetizing to bird Pokémon. When under attack, it secretes a sweet and delicious sweat. The scent only calls more enemies to it. It does not appear to be intelligent enough to care. It tries to resist being swallowed by a bird Pokémon by spinning the sepals on its head. It's usually a fruitless attempt.
Although it's too sugary for human consumption, Bounsweet's sweat can be watered down into a juice with just the right amount of sweetness. xesseian Bounsweet's Peach Juice is world famous for it's refined taste.

    xesseian Mudbray
    Classification: Donkey Pokémon

It has a stubborn, individualistic disposition. Eating dirt, making mud, and playing in the mire all form part of its daily routine. It eats dirt to create mud and uses it to attack by spitting it at it's attackers. It loves playing in the mud. If it isn't showered with mud on a daily basis, it gets stressed out and stops listening to its Trainer. xesseian Mudbray are far more stubborn and therefore more difficult to control than those of other regions.
Although not as physically strong as their Alolan relatives, xesseian Mudbray can still be loaded with 20 times its own body weight and will be totally fine.

    xesseian Mudsdale
    Classification: Mud Spitter Pokemon

It mixes dirt with the saliva in its mouth to make a special kind of mud. This mud provides resistance to both wind and rain, so the walls of old houses were often coated with it. It can also use the mud it creates to attack by rapidly spitting it. It can store quite a lot of it in it's mouth, so if it fully unloads, it can keep rapidly firing for 5 minutes straight.
It remains calm and unmoving no matter the situation. xesseian Mudsdale will only obey trainers they consider worthy. They will frequently test their chosen trainer to see if they are still up to snuff as well.

  • Only two as it's already way too late =p
But progress is progress, I guess?

    Malerrie
    Classification: Energetic Pokemon

Malerrie is very energetic, but also very clumsy. It will regularly bump into things while running, or trip over things; it's own feet included. They recover themselves quickly though and will resume running around within a couple seconds. They dart around happily wagging their tails all day long, seemingly not needing any breaks. It will however need a break sooner or later, even if it's not aware of it. If you suddenly see it collapsing, don't panic: it's body is just catching up with the fatigue it's built up.

    Gnomarth
    Classification: Mountain Dweller Pokemon

Those who venture into the mountains should keep an eye out for Gnomarth. They are extremely rare and very hard to spot, but it is said that if you see one and talk to it, that it will grant you any one wish, in exchange for keeping silent about finding it. Gnomarth are solitary and dislike being spotted by humans, so they have started granting a wish in return for their silence. Should the promise be broken, the wish will come undone, and they will come to your house to raze it to the ground. If someone is still in it, they somehow always come out of the rubble unscathed.
If you find a den with lots of gems and precious metals in it deep inside a cave in the mountains, you should leave it alone. Steal the possessions of a Gnomarth and you will find yourself penniless, unloved and without a home the very next day.

  • Phyllovore
    Classification: Pacifist Pokemon

A gentle Pokemon that went extinct in ancient times due to it not protecting itself. These Pokemon are quite sturdy and can take quite a bit of punishment, but were often not fast enough to make a getaway. They dislike fighting and would quite literally prefer to die than to harm anything. And they did.
They require very little nutrients to survive and eat mainly moss and leaves. These Pokemon have been successfully restored from fossils and now live in protected habitats to protect them predators.

    Territes
    Classification: Brutal Guide Pokemon

Shunned nearly everywhere in Xesse, people will often spit on it's name upon hearing it. It is thought to kidnap children and then return them after doing something to them. But, on the rare instances where researchers were able to observe it, it was seen to approach lost children and guiding them back to the nearest town or city. These finding were published, but people refuse to believe it and insist it is an evil being.
Not being very physically strong, it instead uses it's special powers to confound and defeat it's opponents. It will make it's opponent see mirage images of it while it sneak close enough to land a lethal blow. These Pokemon rarely fight, but are quite brutal when they do.

    xesseian Bibarel
    Classification: Beaver Pokemon

It makes its nest by damming streams with bark and mud. It is known as an industrious worker. A river dammed by Bibarel will never overflow its banks, which is appreciated by people nearby.
While its movements out of water are sluggish, it can swim as fast as any Feebas. The Bibarel in Xesse always walk on their hind legs when not in water.
Bibarel fur repels water and is also a fantastic material for heat retention. It's fur is quite popular and as such Bibarel is often a victim of poaching. Poachers are punished harshly when caught in Xesse.

that's actually just something I forgot to change from one of Bibarel's Dex entries... but apparently there's no fish Pokemon yet.
Well.. you do have the Seel line, albeit a regional version. Not a fish line, but still a water type with a Dex entry on it being able to swim well.
Could swap Feebas with Seel.... or wait till you do have a fish mon and use that instead. Or just borrow an existing fish Pokemon you want in your region.
