[Discussion] pokedex entries help

Can't say I've ever tried.

Do you already have an idea of what settings they are in, like say a desert town or a town on a cliff or one surrounded by a forest etc.
Could potentially try something based on the location they are in. For example:

-For a town in the mountains, potentially near a cliff: maybe Brightrock ?
-For a town in a swampy area: Wildemarsh ?
-A town at the shore surrounded by green fields: Greenshore ?

All the links in the post you linked are kind of information overload tbh xD

Might help to try and draw a simple map based on where you want what to be?

can't say that i've ever tried to draw a map ^^'

i kinda want the forest/tunnel outside of Farnfoss village to be named 'farnfoss forest/farnfoss tunnel' - https://pokemonfanon.fandom.com/wiki/Aurabbi?so=search#name_origin

the mountain surrounding farnfoss village/farnfoss forest/farnfoss tunnel has to have a name, i know that - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hakkōda_Mountains *in the first pic in the link*.... like how the mountain in sinnoh is named mt.coronet :>

*can you put what you typed into the link i showed you, please? :> *

Not entirely sure if the red bits are horns, but they kind look like horns... the evo doesn't really have horns though.... ears maybe? 🤔
Used both words in the entry, just pick whichever it is =p

Berbush
Classification: Heat Pokemon

They generate heat constantly and use their horns/ears to expel excess heat from their body. Their horns/ears are scorching hot and shouldn't be touched.
Worbur and Larvipede love absorbing the heat generated by Berbush's horns/ears.
These Pokemon are popular in towns in colder climates since holding one feels like holding a nice warm pillow.

i have a new one :> *in the above post*

Kyouan Dunsparce
Classification: Forest Snake Pokemon

The Dunsparce in Kyou are a lot less timid than those from Johto. They live in hollowed out trees instead of underground, and as such are usually found in forests. They live in very big colonies, usually spanning at least a dozen trees that are near each other.
Although normally passive, they will band together to defend their nest if it's threatened.

Sparpent
Classification: Forest Snake Pokemon

Their fangs secrete a potent paralytic poison. Although not directly harmful, the victim will be immobilized for a month if left untreated. Curiously, their victims always survive as they always seem to end up at the edge of a town or city, not being able to remember how they got there. Even more curiously, if their victim had any physical ailments, they will find themselves cured. Sparpent's venom seems to heal the body while immobilizing it.

Quaratt
Classification: Chimera Pokemon

It can hypnotize it's opponents by wagging it's rattle-tail in a peculiar rhythm. It uses this in self defense to make Pokemon that prey on it leave it alone. If you see any Silicobra or Sandaconda acting oddly, they probably tried to attack Quaratt and got hypnotized by it.

Quaratt are solitary Pokemon, but they like the company of people. If they get lonely enough they might try to hypnotize someone into giving them attention, if given the chance.
They excrete a very mild poison when sweating. It is recommended you wash you hands directly after touching one.

Also on an unrelated note, I've been wondering if you've considered adding a secondary typing onto the lycanroc forms? Like how you added the Fairy typing to Miltank and Dark typing to Tauros?
I think Midnight Lycanroc could have the Dark type added onto it and the Dusk form could gain the Psychic type.

Ragopat
Classification: Dragon Knight Pokemon

Ragopat is no longer as restless as it was as a Chokirake. They prefer to stay in one place and often end up becoming the protector of a town or city.
They are good natured, but will not forgive anyone who harms another living creature on purpose. As such, people who live in a town or city protected by it, will usually travel away from their town/city to hold Pokemon battles.

It's preferred method of attacking is covering it's opponent's body in Psychic energy and exhausting it with as little conflict as possible.

Batako - They live in groups on someone's plate until they get devoured by a hungry person. 🤤

If Fairy/Fire:

Batako
Classification: Fiery Ball Pokemon

This Pokemon is not unlike a hotpot. The Pokemon is shaped like a Ball, but has an opening at the top. It scrounges cheese and lettuce and cooks it inside it's fiery stomach, with some of it always sticking out. They share the cooked cheese and lettuce with any hungry Pokemon it comes across. It's a potent food that will heal even serious injuries when ingested.
In the past they were often mistaken for food by humans and as a result have grown wary of them.

If Fairy/Grass:

Batako
Classification: Layer Pokemon

The Pokemon itself is only the outer layer. It scrounges various types of lettuce and cheese and stores it inside. It saps nutrients from the lettuce and cheese to grow bigger in preparation for evolving. It regularly seeks out fresh lettuce and cheese to replace the ones it's sapped.
It's contents often spill out from the top, creating an enticing aroma wherever they go.

Or, if pure Fairy:

Batako
Classification: Ball Maker Pokemon

This Pokemon spreads a delicious aroma as it rolls around. They gather lettuce and cheese and gather them in balls they make that look like themselves. They leave these behind on plates in towns near where they live. These kind Pokemon often help the homeless with their food, but they will try to help anyone who is hungry.
These Pokemon are quite shy so they usually leave behind the balls of food they make when people are still asleep.

Wasn't sure which option to pick, as I could come up with something for either. And then I added another option, because food mons like the Milcery and Swirlix line are pure Fairy type, so I consider that an option too =p

hmmm.... ooh, that's a hard choice to make... they all sound good... <.>
but... i think i like the last option :>

(Kyouan) Falinks
Classification: Squad Pokémon

Unlike the Falinks from Galar, they don't have a singular leader. Each one of them can take the lead depending on the circumstance.
The Red one is in charge of anything combat related, the green one is in charge of food gathering and survival and the gray one is more of a diplomat, in charge of any peaceful interactions with other Pokemon or people, as well as keeping the squad together.
They use their Psychic Powers on each other to attack their opponents from unexpected positions. Their flurry of attacks can be quite difficult to repel.

ooh, i like that :> *the ''grey'' one seems to be more cream-like colour, though... but it's fine :> *
