Wow, the tilesets and the palletes look magnificent. The storyline also looks good, but abit simple. Your mapping skills also look descent. Good luck with everything, and if you need any help, pm me!

The path sides should be a bit darker

Lime green doesn't sit well with dark green XD
 
Yeah I was thinking of that aswell x].
But I don't want to change anything anymore, I sat down at my bed with my CD Player and thought of some new ideas for the hack, and I think i'm going to add them really soon. There will be such things as "hidden pathways", Wierd circular buildings (Not giving it away), MT SILVER, and of course, the restricted area, which has something to do with the story >;D. If you can guess...
 
I finished some of the scripts :D.
I'm now mapping route 1 and Spring City. Spring city will have some Ruby House tiles, because FR and Ruby mix well..

I'm also going to try spriting some Pokemon and Overworlds if $_$ is unable to get me some overworlds.

I wont update for a while.

I've switched the codebase to Ruby, so i'm redoing some maps, mainly because it looks better than the other tiles.

I should be finished in a few days.
The scripts and everything are saved so it's fine ;D.
 
Yay! A fellow Ruby hacker... -_-
I'd pick Ruby because it is more stable, and it is easier to change tiles, palettes, etc.

Yes, it's possible. Just map 'Inside of Truck' and make it look like whatever you want it to... even your starting room.
 
I'm currently working on trying to avoid the truck animation, because the door always appears infront of the other door, it would be a good idea to recreate the map so the door lands ontop of the current door so you don't see any changes, if you understood that. But otherwise I have no idea, unless I could somehow de-code the script...

Does anyone know the textbox number in UNLZ?
 
You could pass the Truck Animation off as an Earthquake
 
I've decided to close this thread because it isn't very interesting, i'm going to take a break and work on a hack for a while before making a thread ;). Though i'll probably use some of this hacks ideas. Thanks for your support everyone, but I don't like this xD.
