"because I prefer to try and be friends with my pokemon, not thier enemies." I said, still listening. As Flygon translated the next peice, I answered "Suicune." as I got out an old bell that I had found. it was a clear blue, like crystal. I rang it once, the sound of it clear and pure. Withen moments, Suicune stood on the edge of the clearing. Several things immediatly occured to me. one, that Suicune's eyes were glowing red. Two, it was growling. Three, it had just launched an Aroura Beam at Flygon, that was expertly dodged. "okay... that's Lugia and Suicune out of thier minds..." I muttered. but as quickly as Suicune had appeared before me, it was gone, heading for Rustboro.

As I jumped in to attack, that vow took for the *****'s Pokemon as well as her I shouted "That's what the first one said. Right before he smiled and broke my arm in three places!" My attack was a basic one, but an efective one. I'd lept into the air, although I did not take flight. My blades were raised to attack and my arme ready to grap and throw the thing into my oncoming slashes. Tear knew the move well and how to best complement it. We'd hunted together for years, and knew each others moves almost perfectly. Out of the perihery of my vision, I saw her dart around to Suicune's other side, to help and furth drive the beast into my attack.

I shook my head slightly, as Suicune watched the mutant Scyther for a moment, before closing it's eyes, and a whirling tornado of wind appeared around it. It didn't seem to be afraid of the Mightyena at all. I could sence the confidence from the legendary pokemon, it knew that if it seemed to be losing, its speed was it's main power. "I don't know what I can do to convince you otherwise. Unless you tell me a way to accomplish it, there's nothing I can do to prove I'm not like your last owner." I whispered quietly. I was honestly worried, now not for my safety, but for him. I wanted to help. but it didn't look like he'd let me...

The tornado tossed me out quickly enough, lightly injured. I shouted to Tear "Back off!" To the *****, I said "Release me, maybe. Or let me take your head. Either way, I'm happy." In truth, was beginning to wonder about her. She seemed a little mournful, even worried for me. No! Have to stop thinking like that I thought to myself. It was probably all an act, designed to earn my trust, then destroy it.

I watched the Suicune, since Flygon had chosen not to translate. Probably a good thing. I noticed the suicune lower his head slightly, and I called to the mutant scyther "Suicune's going to try and ram you, then probably follow it with Ice beam or Bubblebeam!" After all, if he knew what was coming, there was a higher chance of him avoiding it. My prediction was correct, as he lept at the mutant, preparing to crush him with it's weight if it could knock him to the ground for a few moments.

Even if I didn't trust her, she knew what she was talking about. I knew sense when I heard it, even if I didn't like the source. I grabbed the front legs of the Suicune and slid under it, stabbing at the beast's underbelly in a rapid-fire move that stayed perfectly on target nonetheless. Lungs, heart, intestine, stomach. Before I knew it, I was out from under Suicune, unaware of if I'd caused any damage whatsoever. I slid to a stop five feet beyond, weight shifted to my right leg and in a half crouch.

I was watching this whole affair with an interested look in my eyes. Frankly, I hoped that the beast would finish the mutant off, since it didn't look like it could follow us if we flew away. But I glansed back at the female nervously. If she ordered me to help the fight, then I would. I'd regret it, but I would do so. I wasn't exactly in the mood to save it, after it had attacked us all.

Suicune hit the ground gracefully, bleeding badly, but seemed to be ignoring it. But it was aware it was up aginst a trainer's pokemon, and knew that even if it did harm its opponent, the trainer would just heal it, or send out another pokemon to assist. Finally, Suicune made it's choice. It reared onto its back lags for a moment, then rushed off into the forest. "Naturally. Suicune thinks it might lose, it runs off until it thinks that any of us might be weak enough to kill." I said, looking at the blood on the ground What's going on here? Legendary Pokemon being unnaturally agressive, a mutant scyther, a black scyther that matches no standards that I've ever seen... something must have gone very wrong... I thought.

"I'm not an idiot" I growled under my breath, grabbing some grass and wiping my blades clean. I added on, just as harshly "Get it over with now. I was awful out there. Go ahead and hit me. I'm used to it." I was almost taunting her now, daring her to attack me. Not that I would really try anything if she did. Years of abuse had given me a victimization complex the size of the Lilycove.

"What the heck are you talking about? I don't hit my pokemon for losing a battle." I said, watching him. It was clear that he was an abused pokemon, though I had reached that conclusion already. I could hear Flygon saying I was ruining her jokes, but I ignored her. She liked telling newbies that I was abusive, it was one of her ways of gaining control of the group. She was starting to get worried about these two Scythers, as they seemed to be absorbing her trainer?s attention?.

"Like hell you don't" I snarled, furious that she would lie like that. Then again, he had as well. But...Maybe a truce could be reached. I added "Fine, I'll believe you. For now. And on a few conditions. You don't hurt me in any way and you help me find my bastard of a first trainer. In return, I'll stop trying to kill you and pledge my life to you and your protection. Deal?" The encounter with Suicune had told me that something odd was going on, something that needed to be solved. Though my old warrior society was long since dead, their vows still guided my life. To police the world, keep nature balanced. Something was wrong.

"Deal. Now, as for the trainer that abused you... name, appearence, owned pokemon, if you can provide such information." I said, glancing at the Mightyena. I was aware that the deal wasn't existing for that pokemon, I'd have to be careful to keep me and my pokemon safe. Though in between searching for his origonal trainer and trying to keep the species of pokemon that I feared most, this would be difficult...

Before responding, I went to one knee and said "By the hope of my rebirth and salvation, I pledge my life to you. My blood shed before your, my life given before yours." I then raised one blade and ripped it across my arm, sealing the oath permanently. It was an ancient form of the Sha'made Conde blood vow, and perhaps the strongest around. As far as I was concerned, my life was only valuable now in defense of this human's I smiled inwardly at the thought. If it got me his head, though... I stood and said "His name is Andrew Allensby. He usually goes by Chaos, though." I shuddered as I called the name. He could do...odd...things. "Physically, he stands about 6'3'', well-built with green eyes and long black hair. As I last heard, he owns a Scizor, Absol, Pidgeot, and Alakazam."
<OOC>:P<OOC>

"Chaos... nope, never heard of him. He wear a uniform? If he's a member of any of the teams in the countries, it won't be hard to find him. If not, we've got a LOT of work to do." I said, cracking my knuckes, before adding "I hope you don't expect to have him all to yourself, after what he did to you, I want a peice of him too. Even though the conflict with you and blacky over there just undid the months of visiting a psycologist I had to go through to elimate my fear of Scythers..."

"Not that I know of" I replied without a pause. "He could be an undercover, though. I doubt it. He's very independant." I looked briefly at the self-inflicted wound on my arm and, after a moment's thought, added "He's mine and mine alone. I don't want you any closer to him than absolutely necessary. The things he'd do to you..." I shuddered before adding "I last heard of him in Slateport. We can go whenever you're ready."

"lets go after him now. It's like looking for a diffrent color hair on a snorlax as it is, if he moves off, we'd never find him." I said, hopping onto Flygon. She flapped into the air immediatly, and prepared to move to Slateport. I didn't have to worry about either of the Scythers, they both seemed "loyal" enough to follow me. At least, I hoped so.

I instantly took to the air, following close behind. There was something I could use to make the search easier, but I didn't want to use that without dire cause. It would be quite dangerous, and with the human around, I didn't want to use that, particularly now. He'd kill her just to torment me. Come to think of it, I didn't know her name...I flew up alongside her and shouted over the wind "Who are you? My name is Ahndrith, of the Watery Grove sept of the Jenn Aiel clan."

"Name's Rachel. If you really have to know, I'm the champion of the Elite 4 in Kanto and Hoeen." I said, as Flygon headed straight for Slateport. I had to be careful to keep from getting blown off her, she was incredibly oblivious to my safety while in flight, and was a challenge for even the best dragontrainers.

"At least she knows what she's doing" I muttered under my breath. There was an exhiliration in me, one I hadn't felt for some time. The thrill of hunting in a pack, it was. Dipping under Flygon, I noticed Tear loping along below us. For now, I could tolerate that, although, I'd have to chase her off later. I didn't want her involved with this. I increased my speed and shot out ahead, taking the point position in the flight.

I would have commented on his choice to take the lead, but I decided that he would be able to recognise his former trainer easier then I could. Finally, I saw the city ahead, and the water along it. I looked back to Ahndrith, slightly nervous. I could easily recall a Gyrados I had met that had been experimented on by Team Rocket, and went crazy once it saw the members. I shivered slightly, knowing a crazy Scyther was a lot more dangerous then a Gyrados...
