Which storyline version of pokemon would be better?

    Which pokemon storyline is the better. The TV;anime or manga version?

    All pokemon fans .I have been watching pokemon the anime version which is quite cool but there is another action packed side 2 pokemon that not much people know.My favorite storyline is the manga.If you havent notice, every pokemon game that comes out has the name of the manga heroes like Red,Greeen,Blue,Yellow,emerald and e.t.c. Most of the pokemon games follow the manga so the if u feel confused, now u should kno y. In the manga These guys have morebrutal battles with pokemons like in the manga gary whose name there is blue use an attack on gastly n the atttack looked like it blew gastlies brains out because he made charzard aim for the main part. Also the battles in the manga r so intense that it's dangerous and the trainer's can even die. In the anime it's all about Ash travellin with his friends n playin arou dwith team rocket n so on. But in the manga it goes further than that. In the manga Ash travels alone but meets up with many people and his pokemon are much stronger than in the anime.

    Moving to Pokemon General, since this section is about the games. And obvs the manga.
     
    I like the TV anime better because even though the manga follows the games more closely, I like the anime's plot better.
     
    I perfer the Manga's storyline over the Anime's. The manga is hinted toward the oldheads (people who originally grew up with pokemon) and the Anime is always recycled. Either way both storylines are good enough to attract fans.

    I love the anime, but the manga is better. It just is. The art, story, and characters are all just so much better developed. :/
     
    I would say that Manga is way better storyline-wise. However, from posts by the likes of GlitchCity, I have a feeling we may be getting confused over which manga is being referred to?

    So, please could you clarify whether you are referring to Pokémon Special / Adventures, Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Adventure! or The Electric Tale of Pikachu?

    I have a feeling by your mentioning of Ash (it's hard to mistake Red for Ash in PokéSpe, as he's named repeatedly), you're referring to The Electric Tale of Pikachu manga. If you are, I cannot compare them. However, if you're referring to Pokémon Special/Adventures, I'll happily voice my opinions :)
     
    i prefer the manga because the manga just gets right to the point, and sometimes the anime gets a litte repitive.
     
    I honestly don't even read the manga, but from what I see from it, I say the manga has a better story line. Haha.

    Just seems like it has more characters and action, unlike the anime where its always the same deal with Team Rocket stealing pokemon and Ash endlessly traveling, battling leaders and getting all the badges.
     
    I think the Tv version is better and more realistic.The comic book versions just seem so distorted and fake.They just don't feel like its how pokemon would be.
