Name: megiddo
Age: 17
bio: A trainer from the X region who defeated the 8 leaders there. He was offered a job as a gym leader in blizzard's region, but when he arrived someone else was hired instead. So he decided to become an explorer of the world.
plot: You find megiddo one day on the summit of an arctic mountain, gazing around. He notices the badge of the one who stole his job and challenges you to battle to see if he's better. Upon his defeat, he leaves to another place of mystery.
 
Name: WaveMan (real name: Kyle)
Age: As old as the hero.
Infomation: He is a friendly player, who just wanders into the region. He is Professor Elm's son, you know, from Johto? He finds you in the 2nd city and says "Hey, do you know Professor Elm? Has he taught you anything? I'm his son, and I was wondering if you want to battle. You do? OK then, bring it on!" And battles you with his Horsea.

In game plot: Can he be your rival? Or at least one of the rivals. He just runs into you after every 2 badges you get (kind of like Carlos in Shiny Gold". Whenever you challenge him, he gets MAD and runs off. He is always like a gym behind you or 2. As I said before, you meet him in the 2nd city (if that's OK) and chalenges him to a battle. And after the battle he is on his way. You battle with him once (like steven in Emerald). Like khaosknight's character, the last time you battle him he is on victory road.

Feel free to change this to fit the storyline, i just kinda winged it :D
 
Well, this looks like a promising hack, i really like the idea of having RegIce as the weapon of destruction for freezing the whole region, good thing we will have a fire pokemon to keep us warm eh. Umm.. lots of luck on this and i hope to see progress later on..

@Mr. Fury: Yes, you can be an in-game character now.
Post its history, name, and Pokemon.
Also, Cyndaquil, you receive, the others can be caught wild.
I don't have the battle sprites yet, but I'll get to the Hero/heroine OWs soon. ;)

Name: Orange
Age: 15
Born and raised in theshiria region he was neglected as a young boy and kicked out of his house at the age of 8. He went to live with his grandpa in the kanto region, there he joined team rocket and became a grunt. Soon after his grandpa died. When team rocket got weak once again he moved to the honen region and joined Team Magma, he spent 2 years training with Maxie. But when he wasnt there to help Team Magma help fight the "hero" he was beat up and releaved of all of his highly trained pokemon. With nothing left in the honen region for him he took a one way ticket back to the shiria region. He found out his father had died and his mother was truly depressed. She gave him a phanpy and ordered him to leave. Orange doing the only thing he knew how to do moved on and decided to go after the 8 gym badges.

How about they battle before 1st gym, 4th gym, and 8th gym?
And then before you enter victory road they can battle?

Before 1st gym:
1. Phanpy
2. Magby
3. Poliwag

Before 4th gym:
1. Donphan
2. Magby
3. Poliwhirl
4. Snorunt

Before 8th gym:
1. Donphan
2. Magmar

The Blue overworld sprites you're using were made by Coronis, they can be used by anyone as long as you give credit, you should do that in the first post.
 
So any ideas you need me to think of?

Ive got a idea for the starter, it could be a shiny Charmander of which is of a family of charizards which were a saviour of the first city and it could be given to you by an elder of which is an ansester of the family who own the charizards .
