Heya, I just played through version 1.3e and I think I have "a few" words.
Firstly, dear god this hack needs some serious level curve/grinding balancing, desperately, and especially because it's insanely difficult to guess if you're even going the right way. Second of all, several bugs here and there, most of them due to cutscenes not starting correctly and speaking to NPCs with no dialogue, thus crushing the whole emulator. The other severe problem I found is softlock potential in Deisel City, at least if you don't have anyone who can learn Fly (that is, if you don't forget to pick it up or find it before getting warped there).
I have to say I beat the game thanks to (many) savestates, as well as being able to trade with myself (evolving Knightvern and "cloning" rare candies without using cheats), and I also sequence broke the game by using a Doduo with Run Away, and also being patient enough to try to catch level 100 Pokemon with a Pokeball in Mt Moon (at first just for fun, later becoming a necessity after seeing the IMPOSSIBLE and completely arbitrary level spikes).
When I got into the hide and seek minigame, I skipped all three kids and could battle the main one immediately at the top of the hotel.
The Rocket hideout in the casino leads to exploring the Abyss again and fighting (both) Yaban a second time, and as far as I know, the only solution is to catch them (again), although you can also use an Escape Rope (or Dig) to get out of there.
Also I somehow snuck into the Cycling Road without a bike, lol.
The last two trainers in the Elite Four had some error text, by the way.
Aside from other sprite bugs like the swimmer in Viridian City, there's not much else I can remember.
Is there a way to enter the SS Anne? (or to actually get Cut/Flash? I think I missed those HMs)
Are the heart-like Pokemon available to catch? (they're so insanely broken, damn)
Quite the edgy story. Kinda feels like Yaban and all the demon stuff doesn't really fit when the story is around Shiki, and the angel stuff had me intrigued, but sadly they aren't on screen for long. Keep up the good work though! It was a fun hack, even if insanely tedious and infuriating in terms of grinding.
