Hey folks,
I'm having a great time playing through a 2018-patched version of Emerald Kaizo. But I'm stuck in New Mauville because the "Pekachu" is sitting on the switch to open the door. Any suggestions or advice here on how I can progress?
Thanks!

The pikachu leaves after the elite four, just continue the game

It is down right unfair my lvl 12 mudkip was killed by a lvl 6 leach seed stalling sunkern😂

Squirtle can be found in the 2 patches of grass in Petalburg City.

There's a .txt file with the vast majority of encounters on the 3rd page of this thread. That'll help you as much as just about anyone in this thread.

Do you guys mod in Master Balls somehow or am I the only one dealing with asinine catch rates? For some pseudo and regular legendaries it has to be like 1/1k at best for some of them, and that's while they're asleep with 1hp.

There are no AQUA enemies when I get to te top of mt pyre.
Anyone knows why?
What should I do?

I'm trying to catch Rayquaza rn and I'm probably up to 500 balls thrown. It's insane.

Ok, so I've beaten the E4 and collected every Legendary besides Mewtwo, Kyogre and Groudon... did I miss my chance with the last two? I've been to Mt Pyre but the Cave of Origins still isn't open.

EDIT: Found Mewtwo but cba to catch it (its moveset is UNREAL), still not sure about the others

EDIT2: Lol I haven't played vanilla Emerald in a while - going to the weather institute now...

Did anyone beat the Trick House? I've solved all but the last room but the only way to move on from the location with the scroll resets the entire room so you can't reach the end.

Edit: From the purple square where it says 'scroll': Left does nothing, while up and down are resets. I don't get it. https://i.imgur.com/I2I9eDc.png

Seadra evolves into Kingdra at level 55.

Aerodactyl can be found in Desert Underpass. It's unavailable until postgame to my knowledge.

Hey y'all,
Some tips/tricks I've found while learning the game:
For anyone complaining about encounters - I've seen catch sweet scent pokemon as a tip-> An early one is Mawile in dewford cave, it also learns false swipe and as a steel type can tank a lot of pokemon that you might have to spam pokeballs on. -> Your welcome.
For training with encounter rate at higher levels -> Surfing the sea around Mt. Pyre works really well for lots of pokemon - instant encounter rate, level 50-55 golbat and golduck.

As mentioned before there's a post on pg 3ish of thread with a wild encounter rate -> really helpful when formulating a nuzlocke squad / looking for specific one + telling you if it's a postgame pokemon.

For lots of leveling areas -> it's helpful to find a strong pokemon with roar/teleport/ invest heavily in repels to deal with the wobbuffet spam, especially if thinking about nuzlocke. Repel spam also necessary if you're trying to nuzlocke and need to get to [x] floor of [x] area and can't afford to encounter something on floor 1. Notably place would be the desert.

Afaik you'll get 8 heart scales around the game before you try "farming" them off luvdiscs, helpful to check with move tutor guy in Fallarbor which pokemon have secret OP moves they can learn (notable example being the starters getting 150 power moves).

Im struggling so hard with the 7th gym, actual team:
Blaziken
Ampharos
Gardevoir
Altaria (Gonna change to salamence before E4, too lazy to train Bagon now)
Nidoking
Walrein

Any tips? Thiss double battles are ridiculouss

Also, best wway to grind?

Did heart scales get removed from luvdisc?

EDIT: Also, does anyone have a document or something with all the base stats change SHF did?
