Patch: Pokemon Fire Red Patch 1020/1460 Rombases UPDATE 6/23/16 Beta 1.1 Released

Yesterday's the last day of the week after May 28 right? There will be a release right? :) Can't wait!
 
6/5/16 UPDATE

So we pretty much added everything that was in the base before into this one now except now we added Ollie11's patch and the forme stuff isn't in it just yet and also if I recall correctly M.Hussain told me that he did something regarding the mega evolution stuff I think he may have already if not will add the reverb mega evolution cries as well as the actual mega evolution sound effect I think so next we are gonna do cries next after we add the evolution items

The only reason why we didn't get a lot more done like I was hoping is because this past week I've been constantly busy doing graduation preparation and parties as well as my actual graduation ceramony so I didn't have a lot of time for the base but hopefully I'll be able to do much more this week and into next week so sorry about that I know you guys were excited but please wait just a little longer we'll try to put a lot more time into the base
 
okay for anyone for some reason that still dosent have G3HS or PGE working im going to post the INI's here as well in the OP im posting the 1460 version here first once the new version is released i will update this thread with the INI's for the new version as well

I don't know yet since we still need to add cries,evolution items as well as mega stones and mega sprites as well as forme sprites the only thing that will take long will be the cries everything else can be done in a matter of time so we'll just have to wait and see
 
Congrats on graduating! Hopefully now that you're done, you'll have more time on your hands, because this is coming along great.
 
I was trying to add a new type by using NSE 2.1, by going to Navigate>Pokemon>BPRE>Hud>PKMN and clickling Status. But instead of the Types Image, it's like a broken tv, all messed up filled with random pixelated colors. Any fix?
 
6/8/16 UPDATE

So I have added Cries for all the mons for Kalos and sinnoh I'll be doing unova next and then after cries are all done I've been thinking of other features that I may want to add to the base let me know how many of these features you guys want in this base that I'm about to list

1. Adding more new moves (someone may need to teach me how as I don't know how to do this)
2. Expanding the number of items(someone needs to show me the thread for this one)
3. Expanding the number of TM/HMs(someone needs to show me the thread for this one)
4. Form/Formes
5. Mega stones and sprites(this is obviously gonna be added so no need for this to be asked)
6. Wild double battles

Any other ideas please feel free to post and I'll try to add them in
 
Your TM/HM expansion is for Ruby, and the base is FireRed, so you might want to have that checked...
 
6/9/16 UPDATE

Okay so all the cries are inserted finally now i can start working on those features but i dont know which i should start on first any suggestions
 
okay so at this point in time i can say this the new version of the base is exactly at the point where my 1460 base is at which is all good and the evolutionary methods actually work so i dont have to do alternate ones so now i have two things to ask you guys

1. do any of you have a program that can import .png images because A.I.E for some reason wont let me add the shiny stone,dusk stone or dawn stone but it will let me add in all the mega stone and mega related items

2. i will either soon release a 1.0 version of the new base or ill add all the megas and have them configured before i release a 1.0 version of the base

so again if anyone knows any program that can import .png images and you have it on your pc please send me a link to it or something so i can download it
 
Darn I better hope my new laptop is coming soon I can't wait to work with this patch
 
I also always get problems inserting Shiny, Dawn and Dusk Stones on any GBA rom. But I did manage to insert them using NSE, so you could try that.
Also, you may try to convert the PNG files to BMP using Irfanview then use that image for the items...Hope this helps.

Regarding the Mega ones, I think that you should put them in first before you release a 1.0 version, because Mega Evolution is probably what people want in these times. =)
 
how do you insert items with NSE i changed it from PNG to BMP and when i click on import sprite and i click shiny stone and i put save nothing happens and when I go to A.I.E to see if it was there its not so if anyone knows how to use NSE please teach me so i can add these items
 
sorry to double post but i have just inserted a working fully functional wild double battle and i set it to 20% for now hope you guys enjoy as im going to add more features and also someone please tell me how to insert items with NSE need major help with that

Edit: so i just inserted all mega evolution items as ive said before i just need help adding dawn stone,shiny stone,dusk stone and link cable
