POKEMON FRIEND OR FOE

Intro:
I want to make a hack about super villains and heroes so i'm trying to make this.

Hack of: Pokemon Fire Red

Story:
you're a 10 year old boy/girl who has a scientist father who calls you and your brother to his lab telling you that he shall give you superpowers depending on the pokemon you choose then after you get your pokemon your father will say this famous line: "with great powers comes with great responsibility" Then you face the "Veterans"(Gym Leaders) also facing tombstone's villanous group (no name yet) who created a beam which took the heroes and other villains' powers and leaving them nothing but pokemon to fight<---The prof will say this in the intro

This sounds interesting. Are you going to incorporate pokemon? If not then I suggest rpg maker xp because that would be easier. I could do a couple sprites and if you stick with a pokemon rom then maybe some maps.

Better of making a game than to hack one, being too ambitious with Pokemon games. If you end up with a full hack anyway, it won't be that popular as well.

Ever heard of pokemon prism lol? It's a full hack and it's very popular

I would change 6th to The Green Goblin and 8th to Ghost Rider but anyways itz up to you

It doesn't make too much sense to me. I just don't think it'd make a great Pokémon game.

How far are you planning to go with the editing? Will they actually have super powers to use or will it mostly be just Pokémon with different sprites that are just super hero-lookalikes?

Well i changed the story a little bit and i think i should make the hero a Geek like dude

is pokemon emerald stable ?

No emerald is very hard to work with and has caused many problems for hackers. I think Fire red or Ruby would be better.

this is bothering me how do you turn the pokedex into a national pokedex in the beggining?
