    So do you guys have any major pokemon related memories that you feel are worth sharing?

    I'll go first, the first ever time I beat the Elite 4. I had Leaf Green as a kid and I could never beat the Elite 4, not once. This was because my team were pretty awful and I hadn't trained them properly ( I was 7, give me a break ) but when I got Emerald I could beat them and it was the best feeling ever.

    Well, I don't particularly have any must-share memories, but one of my personal favorites would be when I caught Groudon in Pokémon Ruby for the first time. It was the hardest legendary to catch for me, and took about nearly three to four days to get it done. When I did, though, it felt great. n_n;; Another would be when I had defeated Lance in Blue; to me, he was extremely tough.

    i could never ever beat Agatha on pokemon leaf green the first we cannon fauder but Agatha was unbeatable even when i used my level 80 charizard and yes i was 7 too but i had a well balanced team darn you Agatha

    Catching Rayquaza in Emerald (or maybe Sapphire? I think it was actually Sapphire). I don't remember how many times I had to reset the game because I had used all of my 99 ultra balls at the thing ;;

    When my Marshtomp evolved into Swampert. The concept of evolution was what interested me the most when I first started playing the game, so having my first fully evolved Pokemon made me feel like I could beat any trainer that stood in my way :p

    Defeating the Elite 4 for the first time was quite memorable too; I was pretty curious with finding out what would happen when I beat the game. It got me pretty excited about going to the Battle Frontier, since at that time that was a place that I had only heard of (I had no clue what it was like)

    The first time I beat the Elite 4 in Red. I was like 3 or 4 and had hardly any reading ability so I was just using moves and actually just having fun with the game like you should. I remember getting all the way to Agatha before getting killed in my first run through of them, then I got to Lance and was all excited, having only my Venusaur left in my party alive and then come to find out you have to beat your rival too, that just destroyed my morale for a while. Then I got real excited and kept fighting until I eventually got lucky and beat him.

    Beating my Sapphire all the way is a big one for me. It was the first Pokemon game I entirely completed as a kid (story-wise) without any help. It meant a lot to me. Such epic days, back then...

    Catching Lugia in Crystal after about 2 straight days on/off, spending a lot of money on ultra balls as little!rauzo didn't understand the concept of soft resetting. I was so happy wow you don't understand like 5mins later I got told I had to sit through a meeting on safety in the workplace with mama rauzo but I caught Lugia so the only safety in my mind was the kind Lugia needed to wear before he brutilized the entire e4 and red so he didn't catch any nasty pokeviruses :(

    Beating the White Hollowtree falls under this too as I've never gotten as attached to 2 pokemon as I did during this run, seeing them enter as lv60 weaklings and emerge as lv100 gods.

    Believe it or not, one of my proudest moments while playing a Pokemon game came when I finally caught my first legendary using only regular Poke-balls, Azelf. It took nearly three hours and I had a painful headache thanks to the stress, but I felt like I had accomplished something quite difficult. Of course, in the next two days, my brother caught a Dialga on his second Poke-ball. >_>
