    Looks alright but... since you said scripting was easy for you, couldn't you remove the pokemart event at the beginning instead of text editing it, and just make something new.

    But all you did was change the original palette colors, it's not the actual shinys.
    Cause Shiny Charmander is black, so it wouldn't have stars to start off with.

    Oh well, it's a good idea. But are you going to think of a hero change, because having Lance's sprite and palette editing his hair doesn't make it so original.

    Anyways, this hack is great, I think I'll make a support banner for you.

    Well, I tried making shiny starters with a buddy of mine named Crossel, it didn't trun out so well....

    Shiny Starters was quiet hard, did it in the end.
     
    Well, I'm just curious, did you ASM hack it, like, fool around with the different secret trainer no.s that you can get or what?

    Yes, but movement sprites are very easy. Just moving the hand and the leg to a different spot.
    And I seriously don't think you "didn't copy" Lance's sprite, because there is the cape, the hair, the eyes, everything.

    Anyways, still working on that support banner of yours.
     
    This looks pretty good, I can't wait to start out with a shiny Charmander! The story seems good as well, one question though, will we be able to use the "shiny ball". That would be interesting if you could script it. I'd sure like making shiny's out of any pokemon. Good job my friend, Keep it up!
