I tried it. The grammars are bad and theres a lot of bugs, but it's allright. When I battled JS in Viridian Forest (I had Pikachu only), I threw out two Pikachu(!), and then they both dissapeared, followed by the game freezing...
-Oh well...

Actually Ash and Gary were based on Red and Blue from Pokemon Red and Blue. The Pokemon games came first otherwise the anime wouldn't exist.

Wrong, Blakj06, Red is very different from Ash, their not the same at all except for the hat. Red destroyed team rocket. Red saved silph co. Red became pokemon league champ. Red is WAY stronger than Ash. Just as Green (who Gary is based off of) are nothing alike. Gary is more cocky than Green. Also, Green was once friends with Red, while it is unknown if Ash and Gary were ever friends.

In the instructlet (I probably misspelled that...) book of RBG, you (they) played with each other until Green became a bully, and Red got intrested in Pokémon instead...

If you get whiped out after the Viridian P.C. incident, you will appear in there again, and you'll have to do (parts of) the team-rocket-on-second-floor-event once again... I found that pretty annoying since my Pikachu got owned by that pinsir several times...

Yeah I was playing and I noticed something during the fight with Tentacruel, if you have Ivysaur use Leech seed on it, every turn it damages your pokemon instead of healing them.

Err... What's so wierd about that...? That's not a bug, that's Tentacruel's ability; if u suck health from it u get hurt instead. That happens in every game from R/S and later, Tentacruels ability is either that or Clear body.

not really, becasue brock has level 20's you obtain pickachu in Viridian City, you can get hoean startes.......
