Oh, thak you for reminding me to ask you about Pal Park... You could make that a way to get in to Sinnoh from Johto.

I'm gonna fix up a quick pic of something... I'll PM you to show you

Well you have to start out with it so you can get the Johto Entries and the Hoenn Entries. And Here is sonething I have decided to do with the hack:

With the Choice of starters from each region thing, that means that all the starters are choosable?

When you start the game you have the choice of one starter from Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn. When you get to Sandgem town you will get to pick a Sinnoh Starter

I think he meant one starter from each of the 4 reagions, but that's just my interpretation...

at first i thiught this hack was just gonna be a shiny gold rip-off, after reading a couple new posts i have really taken a liking to this hack. i love the sandgem map and i wish you good luck

Do you plan to have all 386 (plus any D/P ones??) pokemon catchable in this game?

Well, I am not sure what will happen as I am not sure if we can fit in all 491 Pokemon into a firered ROM. And It would be alot of work to sprite 105 Pokemon's front and back sprites. If you want to do that for this hack you are more than welcome just PM me
 
According to the data found in the game there are 26 blank spots. That allows for a total of 412 pokemon.
(and there are 493 pkmn in all, not 491)
 
u could always cut out the useless ones....like dunsparce, or ratatta (nt trying to incite flames) If u really wanted to get all notable ones in....

but yeah, u could cut out the other gens replacements for other things....just saying if u rly wantted to
 
Wait, is are you going to start the game with three pokemon, I can't tell whether I like this hack or not. You think of doing something good and then you wreck it by doing something stupid. That's just my opinion. And have we seen any new screenshots since this hack was started?
 
That gonna be hard man! Why can't you make 2 versions like lustrous silver and lustrous gold. This here could be what you do: delete 53 pokemon from one game and replace them with sinnoh pokemon and and in the other one delete 52 diffrent pokemon and replace them with diffrent sinnoh pokemon.

I mean it's only 1 pokemon loss right you could put dialga in gold and palkia in silve or vice-versa plus it puts a point to trading (but i don't like tradin)

You would not be able to trade between versions that way, if they tried your idea infernape. If another pokemon is filling up the data slot then it wouldn't b able to recognize the different pokemon taking up the same data in the alternate game data.....

thethethethe, the idea of starting w/3 is a bit different from pretty much any other game. i think it helps L.S. to stand out from other hacks, especially Shiny Gold Which is what it is most likely to be compared with...
 
*NOTICE OF CHANGE* Yet another change. You will get to select one and only one starter from elm's lab. One Sinnoh starter in Rowan's lab and every time you defeat a gym leader you will get another one Professor Elm. You can obtain all of the starters in this game basicly. and

Cutting out some useless Pokes sounds like a good idea (maybe) but Dunsparce is quite useful if you use it right.
 
i guess...but do we really need ratatta sentret and zigzagoon? t

hey all serve the same purpose....simple pokemon that are u need at the start but are nt rly useful on the hight level tiers...

and they only needed each so that they could give each game could preserve a distinction among different gens but in an hackers world where all 4 gens are blended together, they are redundancies that could be better used for more interesting pkmn...such as the new evos for old ones or some of d/p's cool additions to the game....

that's just my take on it...i wasnt trying to make a flame war or anything either, dunsparce was just the 1st one that came to mind....

*ps dont let this thread go off course because of my sujestions....

Thats OK! I was not offended at all. I dislike flame wars too.
 
well, theres a lot of people who hve added d/p pokemon alrdy, so it's nt like it's impossible...

Amd mst likely anyone of them would help out, its nt like your making an entire custom pokemon gen either....
