    Who here nicknames their pokemon?
    which nicknames you use?

    i didnt start really nicknaming my pokemon til Emerald, and then it was only my beginner (treecko = wildvine, torchic = heatwave, mudkip = tidalwave)

    but on my latest file on Platinum,ive nicknamed all of my main pokemon, and before my 4th badge,i nicknamed EVERY pokemon i caught

    but it surprisingly helps with happiness ^_^ it helped me evolve my eevee by lv3 into a espeon (whesper)
     
    I usually nickname my Pokemon. I always nickname my starter "Kira" and from then on it just depends on the Pokemon. I nicknamed my Gyarados Bruce Lee, which is another favorite nickname of mine.
     
    I name my Shinx' Conception. Always. At least my first one in that game.
     
    I just started nicknaming my Pokemon recently, I got:

    SoulSilver
    Bello the Swampert
    Al the Alakazam
    Floze the Typhlosion
    Chomp the Garchomp
    G the Gallade
    Char the Charizard

    Diamond
    Twiggy the Torterra
    Gold the Golduck
    Magz the Magnezone
    Glace the Glaceon

    Ruby
    Bello the Swampert
    Cro the Crobat
     
    I never got into nicknaming pokemon as I saw no point in it until my friend convinced me that not naming a pokemon is like not naming a pet. "Dog, use bite! Fish, use splash!"

    Anywho, since then I've named every pokemon that I've put in my team... 7 of them. haha

    Chopstix the Infernape
    Young G the Gyarados
    Aaron the Lucario
    Sweezy the Salamence
    Magnus the Metagross
    Prince the Kingdra
     
    I only started nicknaming in SOulSilver:

    Typhlosion: Tyler
    Togekiss: Galileo
    Kingdra: Rey
    Lanturn: Lucius
    Scizor: Byron
    Arbok: Lamia

    See any theming there? XD I might transfer my nicknames over to my EV'd pokemon....Hmmm.....
     
    I always have trouble nicknaming my Pokemon, or finding good nicknames... The only good nickname I think I've ever come up with was nicknaming my Raticate Bucktooth... because Buck is the name for a male rat.. and Raticate has Buck Teeth..

    i used to have trouble too, but im startin to get the hang of it as you can tell from my massive list lol
     
    I nickname nearly everything. I usually nickname my pokemon after anime and games characters. (Naruto = Jolteon, Kisame = Sharpedo, etc.) Other times I'll just come up with something I like. (Mudkip = Kipper, Meganium = Chia, Zapdos = Dr. Thunder, etc.)
     
    I always nickname my Pokemon since it's fun!

    i named my lugia on silver the same thing lol
     
    I usually name my mons to 'id' them and I never name my legends, but I only care to memerize a few:

    Amirita Skarmory
    Zach Glaceon
    Regen Wartotle
    Zikalyex Blaziken
    Wedge Claydol
    Hymn Clefable
    Susan Togekiss and Linoone
    Alice Gardevior
    Ellen Luxray
    and Fligone Flygon
     
    I've trained so many pokemon, I absolutely CANNOT remember them all. I can say the ones that stick out, though.

    Absol: Dusk
    Froslass:Blizzeta
    Milotic:Mystica
    Lucario:Anubis
    Wobbuffet:Bakatcha
    Snorlax:Snooze Lug (trying to think of a better name...)
     
    I can't get myself to give nicknames to my Pokemon. It's like desecrating their real names D:
